Rolling Acres Ranch LLC As or January 2025 we have officially closed our doors to boarding. We also breed and sell miniature donkeys. We do buy and sell all livestock.

We are now a private farm that will eventually be raising and selling our own beef, meat chickens, and eggs.

Late teens- early 20’s 15-15.1hh quarter type gelding. GRADE. Very easy to handle, does fine stalled or turned out. Good with dogs, all other equines, miniature donkeys, cows, and even pigs. His owner is a young girl who has only ever trail rode him. Will also ride with ease in an arena. Not spooky. Will go through and over anything. Has a little pep to his step but is easily controlled by his novice level rider. Not sure of his history, but is not fancy broke. No bad habits or stall vices.

I am just trying to find a good home for him for his owners. He’s been boarded with me 3ish years now. If seriously interested I can put you in touch with his owners for more information.

He’s UTD on everything, except a coggins. He sees the farrier every 6 weeks. Has front shoes. He does have very mild navicular but has always been 100% sound.

He is not expensive. ###. Biggest concern is a good, forever home. They love this horse and want only the best for him. Their granddaughter is a teenager now and has lost interest.

9 year old 16hh+ OTTB gelding. Retired off the track with a front left fractured sesamoid. Has not been restarted. Vet cleared for flat riding ONLY (have X-rays from initial injury and after rehab). Has been pasture sound barefoot but would really benefit from shoes as he’s tender on hard / frozen ground and very low in the heels. Excellent ground manners and one of the sweetest horses I’ve ever had in my barn. No bad habits. Stalls or turns out fine. Low man on the pecking order.

Would consider a lease or sale to the right home. This guy deserves a good home.

17 year old 14.2hh TWH mare. Naturally gaited. Has been shown locally, used for competitive trail, trail rides, and lessons. She will canter, it just takes some encouragement. Shes low on the pecking order and a super easy keeper. She is BLIND in both eyes and has been so for many years (cataracts) but this does not limit her riding or wondering what type of fencing she can or can’t have. She has moved with me several times and has always adjusted very well to her new surroundings. I have had beginners on her as well as handling her on the ground (with supervision) and she was a champ.

She leads, loads ties, stands to be mounted, etc.

If you want something to ride or maybe just as a companion, Bailee may be the perfect fit.

Who’s looking for a been there, done that kind of gelding?

I have the perfect gelding here on consignment that is owned by a good friend of mine.

This 14 year old grade gelding stands around 14.2hh and is a bit of an all arounder. Maybe you want something to throw a rope off of, go for a trail ride, run a pattern, or show in a pleasure class… this guy can do it all!

Whether he’s worked every day or sitting for a month, he’s the same horse every time.

I haven’t found anything that phases him. He’s great around machinery, dogs, traffic, stands for the farrier, and so much more. He was previously used as a track pony.

He will cross anything on a trail and even if he’s unsure, he will go just as you ask of him. Will lead or follow.

He does great stalled or turned out. He’s lower on the pecking order in the pasture.

No bad habits, stall vices, and has always been 100% sound.

He just had his teeth done and has seen the chiropractor all within the last 30 days. Feet are scheduled to be done 8/15.

Last show was a fun show (contesting) just a few weekends ago.. he did great. Nothing phased him.

He’s an easy keeper and has nice solid feet. Owner has always kept him barefoot and never had any issues.

He’s not fancy broke by any means but he’s SAFE. Although he’s soft in the bridle, he is still learning to use himself and come into the bridle so I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner unless working with a trainer for the fine tuning he still needs.

Full care RETIREMENT boarding in Mantua, OH - $450/month

Grain fed two times day, unlimited round bale access, hay nets filled with 2nd cut alfalfa/ grass mix twice per day when inside or once per day when outside. Horses typically stay out, very seldom are they stalled. Fans under the runs, water spickets in each field. Large grass field will be fenced in next year. Small outdoor with trail obstacle and round pen. Small tack area inside barn. Tie station outside for bathing horses. Buckets and troughs emptied daily and scrubbed weekly.

Posting for a friend:

20+ year old 13.1hh grade pony gelding. Been used by confident beginner-novice level riders. Will WTC. Is far from fancy but a good solid citizen under saddle. Has some separation anxiety on the ground/ in the pasture but isn’t dangerous, he just gets pushy. Wouldn’t recommend for a total beginner due to this issue. He needs a job, kids have moved up and no longer have use for him. Great 4H or trail pony. He’s UTD on coggins, feet, worming, sheath cleaned, and I believe dental. He can be stalled or turned out. Low man on the totem pole. Always been barefoot. No lameness issues/ no maintenance. Asking ✋🕠🕠. Mantua, OH

Update 5/1/2024: barn has been rented!

Barn for rent in MANTUA, Ohio.
⭐️ 130 acres
⭐️ 11 stalls + tack stall
⭐️ 2 large grass pastures
⭐️ 2 good sized paddocks each with their own run/ stall.
⭐️ Beautiful trails totaling about 1-1.5 hours worth of riding.
⭐️ Small outdoor riding arena.
⭐️ Winter/mud turnout lot.
⭐️ Hay loft holds roughly 400 bales.

NO indoor. NO hot water. NO wash stall. Very basic barn but the owner is amazing. I’ve been here 4 years and have 0 complaints. Only reason we are leaving is we bought our own farm 🙂

Potential tenants will be THOROUGHLY screened.

$1100/month + $100 per horse/stall after that.

(Barn has potential to have a total of 14 stalls so if you choose to put the walls back up and fill the barn it will be $1400/month which is $100/stall).
