🚨 March is Pet Poison Awareness Month!

Did you know that many everyday items in your home could be harmful—or even deadly—to your pets? From human foods like chocolate and grapes to household cleaners and certain plants, it’s important to be aware of potential toxins.
Here are some common dangers to watch out for:
🍫 Human Foods: Chocolate, xylitol (found in gum and candy), onions, garlic, and grapes/raisins.
💊 Medications: Human medications like ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and even some supplements can be toxic to pets.
🌿 Plants: Lilies, sago palms, and azaleas are just a few plants that can be dangerous if ingested.
🧼 Household Products: Cleaning supplies, antifreeze, and certain essential oils can pose serious risks.
🐾 What to Do: If you suspect your pet has ingested something toxic, contact your vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center immediately.
