Akela K9 Services sits on a 17 acre plot in Maple Park Illinois (50 minutes from Chicago, 45 minutes from Rockford, and 40 minutes from Naperville) - This includes a secure exercise and training paddock, a temperature controlled indoor training facility, and indoor kennels monitored by smoke and CO2 detectors, cameras, and multiple trainers on site 24/7.

We offer pet training of all sorts. From puppy raising assistance to behavior modification and advanced obedience. As well as working dog training including but not limited to personal protection dogs, protection sport training, and police K9 foundation and maintenance training.

Our team has nearly three decades of combined experience and can’t wait to work with you in the new year!

We will now only be offering group training on FRIDAY evenings. For those who attend Saturday AM group training you’ll be able to switch any reservations to Friday’s at 4:30.

For those who cannot make our Friday group slot we do still have limited private lesson slots available throughout the week!

Saturday morning group will likely return late October/Early November once our team’s travel schedule calms down.
