CHRISTOPHER TAYLOR DRESSAGE CLINIC

Tall Grass Equestrian and Silver Spur Ranch are excited to share that they will be hosting esteemed dressage instructor Christopher Taylor for a 1 day clinic Sunday December 7th at the Silver Spur Ranch in Maple Park IL.
Quality in performance, dedication, achievement, and excellence-the tenets of Christopher Taylor’s riding and training philosophy resulted from his studies with some of the worlds most prominent American and European to Dressage experts.
Chris is passionately committed to classical training always striving for lightness balance and harmony with unique in structural style for both horse and rider- “Ask a little at a time, praise often”. The result has been happy, highly motivated horses and riders who can focus, as partners, and learning their art
He stresses “Basics, basics basics...and small incremental steps.” Chris has observed that when horses derail in the Dressage-even at the highest levels-it is usually because the basic foundation has been ignored. He strongly believes that regardless of discipline any horse and rider will reap benefits from Dressage.
This philosophy has proven its value for both Chris and his students. Chris has completed internationally at the FEI Grand Prix levels, and has been FEI champion in the Prix St. Georges and was selected to represent Bermuda at the 1999 Pan American Games.
We are thrilled to be hosting Christopher. If you are interested in riding with him please message us. We do intend to make it an auditor friendly. In the event you are unable to ride but would still like to learn there will be no charge for auditing.
