It's weaning time!!
Hey friends and neighbors, it's that time of year, the cows are locked up behind the barn for the winter and the calves have been weaned, everyone has been shuffled around to get into the same size groups. You will hear a lot of bellering and hollering for the next few days. Rest assured, they all have feed, hay and water but are missing their Momma's milk. After about 4 to 5 days, the cows and calves will be a little hoarse and should be quieting down by Christmas or for sure by the weekend. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
