Bound Tree Farm

Bound Tree Farm will have a rare opening, available June 1. We are a small (12 horses max) private facility with a wonderful group of boarders (horses as well as people). Most of our boarders have been with us for 15-30 years.

Amenities include: box stall, wash stall w/ warm water in the warmer months, pasture turn-out approximately 12/hours/day depending on weather, safe fencing, indoor arena (66x160) w/mirrors, small outdoor arena(60x100), close to trails.

Quality feed and hay (small bales only) - owners on site w/over 50 years of experience.

Outside instructors are welcome. Pixem unit may be available for use for remote lessons.

We are located in the heart of horse country just west of Maple Plain (west metro), 27 miles from downtown Minneapolis.

Bound Tree Farm has boarding available for one gelding. We are a small private stable, owners on-site, with many years of experience. Located in Maple Plain, close to the Luce Line. Facility has an 66x160 indoor and a small outdoor arena, 10x13 box stalls, tack room and wash stall. Horses are out on pasture 8-12 hours/day depending on the weather. I don't think we could have asked for a more gorgeous night! A golden hour session for Lynn & Noche, Noche 100% understood his job tonight and was a supermodel!

Today was bittersweet…our last in person lesson with Alison Sader Larson. We have learned so much and come a long way. It’s not the end - just a new beginning. Looking forward to continuing on with Pixem. Wishing Alison, Ken, Manny and Cutty (going to miss those two assistants!) all the best in their next chapter!

Bound Tree Farm is excited to welcome Glenn’s new horse, Evan. He is a 14 yr. old TB cross, former hunt horse, now showing at 3rd level. Thank you, Emily Brollier Curtis, owner of Miramonte Equine, for all your help in arranging the sale. Thank you, Stacey Shultz, for entrusting us with Evan. Also, a special thanks to Liz Lund and Eric Serabian for hauling him home from Lexington, and to Elise Zudima for hosting us on our trip to KY. We are looking forward to working with this sweet guy!

We knew we would have to say goodbye, but we didn’t expect to have to say it so soon. Thank you, Keegan, for everything. While you were a bit…difficult…in your younger years, you really came through for us. You helped Glenn Whiteley and Lynn Robinson Whiteley earn their USDF Bronze and Silver medals, and got Sarah Bliss Whiteley both those and halfway to her Gold. Rest In Peace, Keegan, and run free.

Had a great weekend at the Alpine Dressage show this weekend. Congratulations Margeaux and Khoumadre on your bronze medal and qualifying for regionals (at 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels, no less)! Lynn and Noche also had a great weekend, winning most of their classes,qualifying for regionals at 3rd level and continuing to improve. Thank you Alison for your wonderful coaching!

Noche (GF Zorro Magnifico) gave me all he had on a very HOT weekend! Not a bad debut at 3rd Level. Ended the show as 3rd Level AA Champion!

It's ! Today we recognize and congratulate Team #460 Glenn Whiteley and Keegan of Minnesota!

Before Glenn and Keegan earned their Century Club ride, Glenn also earned a USDF bronze and silver medal aboard Keegan. Wife Lynn also rode Keegan to earn her bronze and silver medal and daughter Sarah earned her bronze, silver, and half of her gold medal aboard Keegan, as well.

Glenn and Keegan rode Training Level Test 1 to complete their Century Club ride on October 4, 2020.
