Summer might be winding down, but the heat sure isn’t! This is our friendly reminder to ensure your pet (and you!) stay hydrated! 💦
Signs of dehydration in pets include (but are not limited to) dry nose, excessive drooling, lethargy, sticky gums, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. If your pet exhibits any of these signs, please contact us right away.

August is Itchy Pet Awareness Month, and we know that treating skin allergies is not one-size-fits-all. Treatment depends on the underlying cause, such as allergies, parasites, bacterial or fungal infections.
If you notice your pet excessively scratching, licking, biting or scooting, contact us so we can determine the cause and treatment plan – then give them a little scratch of love behind the ear! 😊

There is still time to sign up for the microchip clinic happening in September. Microchips are one of the fastest ways for lost pets to be reunited with their owners!

Dog/Cat owners,

If your dog(s) and/or cat(s) are not microchipped, please sign up for this microchipping event. These microchipped are being offered at a low cost in an effort to microchip as many area pets as we can, to assist our police department at returning found pets to their family.

You do not have to be a resident of Mapleton or Amboy to participate.

With our new hours of operation we are closing at 5:00pm on Wednesday so make sure to stop or call in before 5pm to get your discounted products. One of our technician's brought her own pet in this week for an ultrasound so we thought we would show some behind the scenes photos of what goes on. Patients are typically sedated for ultrasounds since they need to be laying still for us to get good images. The doctor will do a scan of the entire abdomen getting the opportunity to look at all the internal organs without every needing to open the patient up, how cool is that! Here they are checking over the kidneys to make sure all is healthy.

We are excited to work with the Mapleton Police Department on this great project to offer low cost microchips to the pets in the Mapleton and Amboy community! Mapleton Police Department in cooperation with All Pets Medicine, Surgery & Rehabilitation Clinic P.A.to host a Microchip Clinic on September 14, 2024.

Applications are now being accepted. Submit your application to participate today via the link or QR Code.

Approved applications will receive an email with a final registration form. Registration forms will begin being emailed out in mid-July and until the microchip clinic is full.

If this microchip clinic is determined to be successful, there are plans to host additional microchip clinics.

With summer festivities kicking off, we want to remind you about the symptoms of heatstroke and prevention tips:​

Never leave your pet unattended in a car​

When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited ​​

Keep your pet hydrated​​

Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment​​

Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves​​

If any signs of heat stroke appear, please contact our team immediately. ​​
