🇺🇸 Meet Channing 🇺🇸 – The Brave and Loving Dog Who Needs You!!!!!!! 💪🏽🐾

🥹 He’s been with us at Lucy’s Hope for 772 DAYS ⏰🙏🏼, each day waiting patiently for the loving family he deserves. 💔💔💔

Channing's story is one of resilience and hope. Despite his many challenges, Channing remains hopeful that his perfect family is out there. Over the years, he’s had opportunities to find a home, but fate has thrown more hurdles his way. Due to his experiences, Channing needs to be in a home with no other animals, where he can truly shine as the affectionate and loyal companion he is.

Before his current stay at Lucy's Hope, Channing had a home. During a medical emergency, Channing panicked, possibly out of concern for his owner. Unfortunately, in the chaos, things did not turn out well for Channing. His owners, facing ongoing medical issues, thought it best to return him to the county shelter. However, they gave a full report that was very positive. Anyone interested will see that Channing was friendly with people, and his owners. It was a heart-wrenching decision for them, made with Channing's best interest in mind. That’s when Ben stepped in and saved him, giving Channing another chance at life. (He’s one of our most handsome dogs😉 too!!)

This affectionate and playful boy loves nothing more than to jump into your lap and play with his favorite big ball. Yet, each evening, as the shelter quiets down, Channing curls up in his bed, his big eyes reflecting a deep yearning for a place to call his own. His only wish is to wake up in a home filled with warmth and love, where he can share his boundless affection.

Channing is a people-lover through and through. His joyful spirit and boundless energy bring smiles to everyone he meets. Unfortunately, his muscular build and size have sometimes made people fearful, but these traits shouldn't be used against him. Wyatt celebrated his 4th birthday last August and has always been one of the friendliest and most loving dogs at the ranch. He gets along well with other dogs and is in great health! 🐾🎂

📣🎉Celebrating Ivan's Journey to a New Life 🐾❤️ Day #598 🥹🙌🏼

The Beginning of Ivan's Rescue 🥹🐕🙌🏼

Olaf, now known as Ivan, came to Lucy’s Hope from a difficult situation. He was on an euthanasia list with only a 7-day deadline, alongside several other dogs from the same case. These dogs had faced severe neglect, and Ivan was extremely fearful and unsocialized, making it challenging for the staff to handle him.

When Lucy’s Hope offered to rescue him, he had to be sedated by the county shelter to be safely transported. Ben, the compassionate owner of Lucy's Hope, drove to pick him up, placing his kennel in the back of his SUV, and took him to one of their trusted trainers. Ivan stayed with the trainer for several months, where he received the care and training he needed to become more comfortable around people. ❤️🚗

During his time at the trainer’s, Ivan slowly began to open up and trust humans again. His progress was remarkable, and he eventually became a staff favorite at Lucy’s Hope. Ivan spent nearly 600 days with us, winning over everyone with his resilient spirit and gentle nature. 🐶✨

Today, we celebrate a joyous milestone—after almost two years of healing and rehabilitation, Ivan has found his forever home. His journey from a fearful, unsocialized dog to a beloved companion is a testament to the dedication and love of our team and the transformative power of rescue work. 🏡🥳

Ivan’s story is one of hope and resilience. From being on the brink of euthanasia to finding a loving home, his journey highlights the importance of rescue organizations like Lucy’s Hope. We are thrilled to see him start this new chapter and wish him a lifetime of happiness in his new home. 🌟💖

We would like to clarify some confusion regarding Terrence’s recent adoption announcement. Terrence was adopted by a local rescue owner in Phoenix who knows him well. He will be residing with her at her home while she searches for a perfect forever home for him.

The vet said she’s 6-8. I think she’s the latter half of that age range. She’s housebroken, good on a leash, likes squeaky toys, and is good with the two male dogs I’ve introduced her to, but she may play a little rough with smaller dogs. I even took her to pet o and she behaved great. She stays close when not on a leash so no concerns with her running away if she has a yard. I think she has hip dysplasia. I took her to the vet and got her ear infection treated and also got some pain meds for her hips, but she can’t get up my stairs and I have a small apartment so I can’t continue to keep her. She’s cuddly and very sweet, but a little timid. Not sure her story. I found her in the rain off of the freeway two weeks ago. She was chipped but the owners never responded and the vet was going to send her to the humane society. She’s difficult to get pictures of, but here are a couple pictures.

Hello, we saved 2 boxer pups from the coyotes when they showed up chewing on their sibling's back leg bone. Apparently, it didn't survive the coyotes. They are 16 weeks? And are adorable. We can't have dogs at this park despite the fact we have 2 other dogs living under our trailer that also need help. Can you help these puppies? They are quite beautiful and friendly.
