Last show of the year last weekend at Beyond Stables was the IASPH Fall Show. Geri Swiec and her gelding, Bad Kisser, were 4th in a large OTAB Single Bit Masters Championship and Dr. Lesley Kordecki and her mare, A Sweet Ride, were the Reserve Champions in the Park Pleasure Championship. It was a wonderful show with great weather.

on Eiffel in Love’s (Arrowhead's Unlike Any Other x RWC Rapa Nui )appearance and ribbon in the All American Cup! It has been our pleasure to raise and prepare this wonderful c**t for his show ring debut at the All American. Henri has a bright future for sure.

Congratulations to Leon Stoltzfus on his yearling c**t, The New Doc in Town, for winning the Yearling Breeders Open at the Kentucky State Fair World Championship Show. This c**t is out of Cougar Town whom he purchased from Merriehill Farm in foal to Doctor Dobro MS.
This was the second cross of Cougar Town and Doctor Dobro MS. The first is a mare owned by Merriehill that we plan to breed in 2025.
We wish him great success with this talented c**t.

The Dutch Harness mare, Heideroos (Cizandro x Morgenroos x Renovo) owned and shown by Kari Lundin, Lundin Show Horses, Edina, MN. Trained by Stan Bodnar came out of retirement this year and was the Open Breed Fine Harness Champion as well as the Qualifier winner at the IASPHA Summer Show. She is next headed to The All American Classic for the ADHHA Harness division. She is also in foal to Glamorous Nuts for 2025. We are all looking forward to this cross.

2023 continued IASPHA Fall show
Sarah Watson and her ASB mare El’s Front Page News, had two beautiful performances to win the ASB Park Amateur/Jr Exhibitor qualifier and the Championship.
Geri Swiec and her ASB gelding Bad kisser won the Open breed WT Single Bit Monarch Qualifier as well as the Championship.
All in all it was a fun show ending to 2023.

We welcomed the first foal of 2024 here at Merriehill the morning of February 27th. This beautiful colt is sired by WC Merriehill After Hours and out of Merriehill La Dolce Vita(Mastrianni x Cingate Sugar Magnolia sired by Brentwood Command)

Updating Team Merriehill Farm end of the summer show results. Abracadabra is a Registered American Dutch Harness Horse as well a registered half American Saddlebred under the name of Poof. At the IASPHA Summer he qualified for the ASHBA National Select Series Championship in the Pleasure Driving Division by winning the OTAB Pleasure Driving Championship as well as the qualifier shown by his owner, Kari Lundin, Edina, Mn.

Team Merriehill results from the Prairie State Classic June 2-4th, 2023. Cingate Starstruck (Graycliff Tony GCH x Cingate Starry Night) Owned & Bred by Gaeton & Cindy Lorino, Cingate Morgans, LLC, Auburn, AL was the Hunter Pleasure Champion as well as the Hunter Pleasure Mares winner.

Congratulations to Doug and Dr. Tadgy Stacy on the acquisition of the yearling stallion Merriehill Decked Out (Dressed Up GCH x Merriehill Dust To Dawn BHOF). Mallory Stacy Sciaraffa agent for the Buyers. Willow Ridge Farm acting as agent for sellers, Merriehill Farm, Inc. We are excited to watch this boy grow up as we think he is pretty special.

First foal of the year here at the farm is a bright bay Dutch Harness filly sired by Waterman and out of the Cizandro daughter, Heideroos. Proud owner is Kari Lundin, Lundin Show Horses, Cannon Falls, MN. Heideroos arrived in the US from the Netherlands in early December. Heideroos and her 1 day old filly are shown here in their first time out.
