Platinum Farm is one of the mid-west’s top equestrian facilities, located on 47 picturesque acres in Marengo, Illinois. We pride ourselves in offering a premium facility in a safe, friendly and professional environment. We offer a horse show and training operation specializing in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Platinum Farm works with riders of all levels and offers an outstanding beginner prog

Platinum Farm boarding offers a full-service facility and takes pride in providing the highest level of care for its boarders. Platinum Farm is well ventilated in the summer and well insulated in the winter, maintaining a comfortable temperature for horses and riders year round. 30 spacious stalls are cleaned daily. Private boarder tack rooms. Indoor and outdoor arenas. Heated and air conditioned viewing room, bathroom, wash rack with hot and cold water. Beautiful large grass turnouts & 5 all weather turnouts. Many acres to enjoy trail riding upon. On site personnel provides 24 hour care for boarders. At Platinum Farm board includes daily stall cleaning. Daily or nightly turnout service (weather permitting). Horses are blanketed according to weather for both stall and turnout and will be outfitted with boots at owner’s request. Individual nutrition management with customized grain, hay and supplement schedules are created to meet the health and competitive needs of boarders. Platinum Farm also offers scheduling and holding services for Tim Liggett farrier service, veterinarians, chiropractors, and equine dentists. Platinum Farm offers lesson programs for riders of all ages and abilities, from beginners just starting out, to competitive riders showing on the “AA” circuit. Platinum Farm will help develop a custom program to meet the needs and goals of each individual rider. Platinum Farm focuses on developing champion riders with good horsemanship, and the belief that good basics are the foundation to successful riders. Lessons are taught by experienced, qualified professionals. Private and group lessons are available six days a week. Platinum Farm also offers summer camp sessions, birthday parties, and other special events. Platinum Farm can provide lesson horses. Calling all Amateur Hunter riders — a brand new championship just for you is debuting in 2025!

Join us for the inaugural USHJA Amateur Hunter Championships, with separate East and West Coast events designed to celebrate and showcase riders in the 2’6” Low Adult Amateur, 3’ Adult Amateur, 3’3” Amateur Owner, and 3’6” Amateur Owner divisions:

📍 West Coast Championships
National Sunshine Series I
October 29 – November 2, 2025
Thermal, CA

We kicked off the month of June at the Crosswinds PTS show.
Victoria and Nutella won champion in BOTH the long stirrup hunter and equitation divisions🥇
Violet and Star won reserve-champion in the beginner hunter division🥈
Sophia and Duke won great ribbons in the short stirrup!🎉
Alita & Boogie earned some good ribbons in the schooling hunters.

Lamplight Spring Spec was a beautiful weekend!
Violet Gore champion short stirrup equitation 🥇
Sophie & Everly continued to be successful winning great placings in the 11 & under equitation & short stirrup hunter.
Adella & Cappy earned great ribbons in the novice hunters.
Savannah had a great show riding Cori & Holly in the children’s hunters & 3’ eq.
Kaylee & Gryffin had great rounds in children’s hunters.
Suzi & Lasting Integrity reserve champion novice adult hunters.
Kenley riding S&L Downtown reserve champion puddle jumpers & won the .90 classic 🎉
Poppy was perfect in the baby green hunters
Alita riding Virgo champion in low children’s hunters
Elodie and Whoville earned great ribbons in the children’s ponies.
Abygale & Gerry moved up & had some fun in the 1.10-1.15 classes 🦄
