Located in Marengo, Ohio. Lord's Performance Horses is a small family operated horse facility. We offer a wide variety of Equine services including Training, C**t Breaking, Sales, Show Prep, Riding Lessons and more.
Specializing in AQHA, APHA and ApHC horses and disciplines ranging from western pleasure, hunter under saddle, trail, showmanship, lunge liners and the versatile all round horse. We strive to assist the needs of each individual horse owner on all levels of their equine endeavor and take great pride in understanding the importance of setting and reaching your goals.
Head trainer, Annie Lord has experienced success on many levels within the horse show industry. Annie began riding at a young age and has over 25 years of riding experience under her hat. Throughout her childhood Annie was given the opportunity to ride with numerous top rated trainers and clinicians. After high-school she attended the University of Findlay for western equestrian studies where she developed her skills as a trainer and riding instructor. At the University of Findlay she discovered her passion of working with young horses. "It's such an amazing feeling...being the first person to throw your leg over a young horse. To be the person responsible for the education and foundation that horse will use the rest of it's life is very special.", Annie says with a smile.
Lord's Performance Horses is home of AQHA Stallion CBS WHITECOLLAR RIDE. Clyde as he is affectionately known is a 16.3 Bay Stallion sired by Multiple World Champion COATS N TAILS and out of the producing mare DETAILICIOUS by All Time Leading Hunter Under Saddle sire LAST DETAIL. Clyde is the most easy going, laid back stallion we have ever worked with and is a carbon copy of his grand-sire. With very limited showing Clyde is a multiple Congress Top 5 Finisher.
Annie as well as her sister Zoe were involved with 4-H and FFA growing up. Both are American Degree recipients. Lord's Performance Horses love our 4-H and FFA kids and families.
