Last night we started doing pH testing on Josie. A decrease in pH has been reported in the milk of mares prior to foaling. We use a very small amount of milk, apply it to the strip and read the results immediately.
A pH of less than or equal to 6.4 can mean a 97.7% likelihood of foaling in 72 hours. A pH greater than 6.4 can mean a 99.4% chance of a foal within the next 24 hours…
And now…we wait…

🤩YO Frosty Lady gets it DONE!!! 🤩

Ellie did a fantastic job in the skis and marked a FAST new personal best for this course! A time penalty for a missed gate kept us out of the money—but not out of the fun!!

I’m so proud of both Annie and Ellie for pushing hard this weekend! They literally blew my hat off 😂
