Sadly, parents (or other family members/adults) have been teaching (by example) younger generations for decades that animals are disposable. Whether the 4-legged, voiceless souls grow out of the adorable kitten/puppy stage with whom they fell in love or exhibited undesirable behavior that would have been avoided had they been responsible & had them spayed/neutered, they grow weary of their pets & abandoned/dump them & move on.
My hope is those types never again take in another living soul. Karma misses nothing. 💔🤬
