Meet Mustard

He is a 13 year old male looking for a place to go. His owner has passed away and the family is looking for a home for him with the hopes of an older home with a very quiet lifestyle. They have no idea when last time he was at the vets. He was always basically an indoor dog so he really didn't get his shots that they know of. He's never been sick or had any issues. They are pretty sure he is neutered. He's gets very shakey when he hears gun shots, thunder and or fireworks. Just needs some loving and a quiet life. He gets nervous around other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. Hi everyone!

I have recently taken on being a board member of a non profit animal sanctuary very local to all of us!

Willowdale Bend Farm Sanctuary is officially a non profit animal sanctuary for many animals.

We have a lot of big projects coming up in the near future and we are in need of funds!

Currently we are working on the barn and making all new stalls for the animals

Shortly after that when the weather warms up we are going to be starting a huge project on all new pens for the animals to be outside in and pastures.

We are also gathering up funds to be prepared for vet care for everyone.

If you would like to donate we would be so thankful!!

You can donate through the page which has the go fund me and PayPal on there. We are currently working on setting up Venmo

I will also be collecting donations during my work days if you would just like to give a donation when you see me or Dianne!

Lastly, other donations are absolutely welcome such as vegetables, wood for fencing, gates, hay racks, salt blocks, hay, water buckets are in huge need, clips to hang buckets. If you have anything like this to donate please message me and we can set up a time for dropping those things off!

⚠️WARNING WHEN FREEZING TREAT TOYS ⚠️

Please ensure that if you are stuffing treat toys and freezing them for your pets to help keep them cool, dont forget to ensure there is a HOLE ALL OF THE WAY THROUGH IT.

WHY YOU MAY ASK?

Toys such as Kongs have 2 holes in their toys for a reason - TO PREVENT SUCTION.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

When your pet licks at the contents of the toy or squeezes it in its mouth, their tongue can get SUCKED into the hole and get STUCK on the dogs tongue and cause horrific injuries to the point where the animal can actually die.

Having 2 HOLES in the toy PREVENTS this from happening.

So if you STUFF your toys with treats, push a straw through it to ensure the 2 HOLES ARE NOT BLOCKED.

If you are going to FREEZE the toy, do so with the straw in place and then REMOVE the straw before giving it to your pet.

So when buying your pet toys, please keep this in mind.

Hope this little tip helps you keep your animals safe!

Hey everyone!!

A few little announcements, as of January 1st my mobile fee has changed from 1.50 a mile to 2.50 per mile. Unfortunately gas is costing me a fortune to get there and run the bus and then to get back home! It should only change your price about 10-15 dollars! If anyone has any concerns about there price please let me know and we can figure something out!!

Also I am now booked until the first week in march, so with that being said if you are already a client but would like to make sure you always have an appointment the best option is to contact me and let me know you would like to get on a recurring appointment for the year set up! If you or a friend has been wanting to set up an appointment now is the time to get yourself in!! 🐶
