Broken teeth are very common in pets and can be very painful! The most common cause is chewing on hard objects. It is usually recommended to remove the tooth because it can be very sensitive to the patient. The best prevention is to eliminate bones such as antlers, nylon chews, and hoofs.

Do you have a stick chewer?!? 🦴🌳 This poor dog had a stick lodged between his molars! Unfortunately, this can be a consequence of letting your pet chew on branches and twigs! If the stick gets stuck in a certain location, it can cause infection and result in tooth extraction. Check out how the stick was removed from this patient!
