🍗 Watch the menu. Avoid sharing turkey bones, rich foods, or anything with onions, garlic, or spices.
🧺 Secure the trash. Curious noses can find harmful leftovers.
🍫 Skip the sweets. Chocolate, xylitol, and raisins are toxic to pets.

Halloween & Thanksgiving Treats: Chocolate, sugar-free goodies, rich foods, and bones can be harmful to pets. Keep these out of reach.
Seasonal Toxins: Mushrooms, acorns, and some plants can be toxic. Watch what your pet sniffs and chews outside.

Little Gigi was a little hungry and decided to try some raisins, good thing her mom took her to UrgentVet East Cobb! The Dr did his physical exam, we induced vomiting and thankfully the raisins came out!

Once Gigi got all the raisins out we gave her an anti-nausea injection and fluids to help rehydrate her and get her back on her feet! 🐾❤

Halloween is tomorrow! 👻 Before the fun starts, let’s make sure your pets stay safe:
🍬 Hide the candy - Chocolate and sugar-free treats can be toxic, so keep them far from curious noses.
🕯️ Skip the candles - Battery-operated lights are a safer bet around wagging tails.
🚪 Calm the chaos - If your pet gets nervous with all the doorbell ringing, set them up in a quiet room with their favorite toy.
🦴 Keep costumes comfy - If your pet's not into dressing up, a festive collar works just as well!

🌊 Everyone Meet Sandy 🌊 ~ Sandy is a brave rescue pup, that was recently adopted by some good samaritans! When they noticed she became quieter than normal and started vomiting. Her caring owners quickly scheduled a reservation on our website, urgentvet.com, and brought her in. After a precautionary parvo test and thorough exam, we discussed diagnostics and treatments. Fecal cytology revealed two types of intestinal parasites, and we administered a dewormer to help Sandy recover. Let's all wish Sandy a speedy recovery! 🌟🐶 #RescueDog #PetCare #QuickRecovery
