We are pleased to share that Dr. Miller is out of surgery and already working out with his new knee ... but he doesn't really love e-collar! Doctors Tim McComb and Julie White are holding down the fort. Thank you to all our staff and clients for making it possible for Dr. Miller to upgrade his knee!

Hello! 🐾 Miller Vet Family,
A neighbor has been fostering 2 sweet kitties over 1 year old. She is looking to find a FurEver home for them.

She TNR'ed them back in February, but brought them inside to socialize after they kept injuring themselves. It took a few months, but you would never know that they were outside kitties based on their personalities now - they love to be petted and the male (Peter Fonda) even likes to be held. The female (Jane Fonda) loves to play and makes cute chirp sounds. They do well with other cats and they have been around a small dog. We are not sure how they are with children, but their first instinct is flight, so I would bet they would hide from a child or anything new to them.
We are hesitant to split them up, so that is why we are hoping they can find a furever home together.
Please contact us at the clinic if you or someone you know is interested. Our phone number is 404-538-5448.

Hi Miller Vet family and friends. A friend has had an unfortunate turn of events and needs to rehome her 2 loving French Bulldogs.

It is heartbreaking but we need to find these two new home. They are bonded so we would prefer they stay together. The female is named Peppa and the male is George. They are both about 2 years old. Older kids preferred. They are sometimes too powerful for small kids. But they are house and crate trained. Up to date on shots. Neutered and Spayed as well as chipped. Love being outside. Dog friendly and people friendly.

If you know someone who would love them and give a good home, please email Emily at [email protected], or text 770-364-7407.

**UPDATE** Thank you to everyone who responded with so much love. We have some potential homes in mind and will be taking some time to determine which one is best for Peppa and George. Thank you again for all the help!!

Hi Miller Vet Family,
Riley and Snitker need a new home! They are Dumbo Fancy rats and are bonded brothers, who have been hand-raised since 5 weeks old, born on Feb. 14, 2022. They are healthy, tame and very sweet. Their large cage (plus a spare one), toys, accessories, food, bedding, etc. will all come with them. A small rehoming fee will be applied to assure that they will be pets, not feeders.
If you are interested, please contact Mitzi via email, [email protected].

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Timothy McComb to the Miller Vet community! Dr. McComb joined us full-time last week and we couldn't be more excited! Many of you have already seen Dr. McComb, but please take a look at his profile on our Meet The Team website page.

Because of his love of animals, Dr. Miller knew he wanted to be a veterinarian at a young age. After graduating from the University of Georgia, he worked with clinics in rural areas that traveled to care for larger animals, as well as small animals. He saw the benefit of caring for animals in their....

Fireworks are coming on the 4th of July and the days leading up to it. This is the scariest holiday of the year for pets and pet owners. Due to loud fireworks, more dogs go missing on July 4th than any other day. You can keep your pet safe by:

1. making sure your pet is micro-chipped and wearing a tag on their collar
2. keeping your pet inside with a safe place
3. turn the TV or radio up to help drown out the noise
4. exercise them before festivities begin to tire them out
5. give them toys to help distract them

Also remember to fix your fences, fill anxiety meds for your dog, get your pet micro chipped and keep them on leash in a secure collar AND harness and update their I.D. tags.

Dear Miller Mobile Veterinary Services Friends and Family,

We hope that you and your furry family members are all doing well. Heading full on into summer can be an exciting time! The last few years have certainly been full of changes – and we appreciate that you have been with us through it all. Our team cannot possibly express our gratitude for your trust and patience.

I am sending this message to convey another change. Dr. Gohr, who has been with Miller Veterinary Services for over 6 years now, will be moving on in May. We are excited for her and her new opportunities but will definitely miss her. For the short term, this means I will be the only veterinarian seeing appointments – at least until we are able to bring someone else on board. We will be making a few changes, including our hours of operation so that we will be able to take care of your loved ones, and have a reasonable work schedule. I will certainly appreciate your patience with these changes.

Additionally, if any of you know of a veterinarian looking for a placed to call home, we would love it if you steer them our way. In the mean time, we hope you all have a great summer!

Sincerely,

Dr. Miller and the MMVS Team
