Meet Ginny 👋 She came to us with her sister Pesha (who was recently adopted) after her owner could no longer care for them properly.

Ginny is a little shy, very sweet and like most dachshunds is a gold medal cuddler 😉 She absolutely loves to be outside and enjoys frolicking in the backyard of her foster home 🐾

She is good with other dogs and would do best in a home with another canine companion to show her the ropes.

And just like that the bestest dachshund is up for adoption. Murphy is a 9 month, 11 # piebald dachshund was rescued from a very bad situation. But this dog has a life to live and has kicked dirt over those dark days. Sweet, friendly with other dogs but cats and small critters are only for chasing. Corbyn (pictured in the plaid) the boy with the big personality, had a rough start before coming to DREAM, but that is all behind him because he is adopted 🎉

Well, not a dachshund but the scruffiness got through my wiener dog filter. 2025 starting off fuzzy and scruffy.

PLEASE note this dog will need further vetting. READ: this will involve financial commitments. But with his fun loving temperament the many years together will be absolutely worth it!!!

Buccee was found after being hit by a car. He suffered a broken pelvis and femur. He needs to be in his splint for a few more weeks. Pelvis could heel but also needs further review to determine if candidate for pin placement. Either way, he is expected to fully recover. A little over 1 year old, house trained, playful, smart and friendly. Vaccinated but needs neuter after cast is removed. Deposit on neuter required.

Blake is still conducting interviews for his forever home. He came to us as a stray after no one came to claim him and that’s ok because he is ready for a fresh start 💖 He is a standard dachshund mix that is approximately 6-7 years old, housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go out. Blake loves his squeaky toys 🧸 but doesn’t care to share them.

Diesel is still on the lookout 👀 for his forever home.

This little guy has a lot of energy (and we mean A LOT), loves to go on walks and wants all the attention from his people ❤️ Diesel is a pro at potty training and has only had one accident in foster home!

Diesel is a velcro who dog gets anxious when left home alone. His foster Dad is working hard on this with him and needs someone who is willing to continue his training.

He is good with other dogs and enjoys playing and cuddling with his foster fur-siblings 🐾

Diesel would do best in an active, adult only home and NO cats 🐈

Dutches came to DREAM after her previous owner realized they did not have the means to care for a special needs dachshund. Upon intake this sweet girl had to be immediately taken into surgery 🩺as she had a bladder full of stones and was in extreme pain

💕Dutches is doing so much better and loves nothing more than to be in the center of all the action💕

2 years ago Dutches experienced an IVDD back injury and did not receive any veterinary care. Due to this injury she will always walk with a wobble and need assistance expressing her bladder and bowls.
