We have been very busy here at Animal Wellness Foundation. We have connected with 3 different organizations bringing in animals from behind the fire lines and continue to help rescue organizations with animals being pulled to clear city and county shelters. Here I am giving fluids to 3 puppies with upper respiratory infections. We accepted 10 chickens last night. Today my dog Duke and I drove closer to the Pasadena fire to pick up a cockatoo and an Amazon Parrot who went to AWC immediately for treatment for smoke inhalation. We are getting busier every day. But we are going to get through it together.
