1. Foster a Kitten: Providing a temporary home helps rescues manage the influx and gives kittens a safe place to grow and thrive. It’s incredibly rewarding and you can make a direct impact on their lives.

2. Adopt, Don’t Shop: If you’re looking to add a furry friend to your family, consider adopting from a shelter. You’ll be giving a deserving cat or kitten a loving home.

3. Donate: Shelters often need supplies like food, litter, and toys. Financial contributions are also crucial for covering medical costs and other needs.

4. Volunteer: Your time is valuable! Helping with daily tasks, socializing cats, or even assisting with events can make a big difference.

Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing holiday weekend! While the 4th of July is fun for us, it can be a scary, stressful time for our pups. Below are some tips to help keep your beasts safe and relaxed.

1. Get some exercise. Take an extra long walk during the day, go to the park or play fetch a little longer. A tired pup is more relaxed, helping their stress levels.

2. Create a safe, quiet space. Make sure your dog is safely secured inside, a stressed pup can attempt to escape a yard or outdoor area. Make comfy space with the bed and favorite toys.

3. If your pup is extremely stressed and anxious consider a supplement or prescription to help keep them calm. Consult your vet before giving your pet any sort of medication.

4. Don’t get upset with your pup if they are having a hard time with the excess noise. Provide comfort, cuddles and treats.
