This sweet trio 💕

Ice cream is the mother of these two. The one behind is her doeling from last year and the one in front is this years buckling. Goats tend to stay in their family groups I’ve noticed.

A couple first time moms decided one week before their actual due date they were done with pregnancy…

Jean had twins, a doeling and a buckling. She had them cleaned off and nursed by the time I found them.

Kitkat had triplets, two doelings and a buckling. She wasn’t sure what to do. Only one doeling fought her way out of her sack. Her and mom have now bonded and are doing well!

Out with the old, in with the new! ✨

In the almost 3 years we’ve owned goats, we’ve learned the safest way to feed them hay is by hand feeding them on the ground. We love our goats dearly, but they sure like to figure out ways to get to heaven faster with bale feeders!

Hopefully this new collapsible feeder is the next best thing!

Big step for Dakota Goat Company today!
We purchased this chute to work our herd. It will allow us to do all of our doctoring and tilt them to trim hooves!
