TEAM OPENING: Veterinary Assistant
A veterinary assistant has a variety of duties related to animal hygiene and their physical and emotional well being. You are the person responsible for making sure animals get their daily care, including maintaining and cleaning their cages, monitoring them, feeding them, and walking them. Your responsibilities include bathing animals and clipping their nails. You will also assist Veterinary Technician or the Veterinarian with tasks. As we are a medical facility as well, this job requires a large amount of time and energy cleaning. If you do not like to clean this IS NOT the job for you. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. Fun team, flexible schedule, competitive wage. Part-time or Full-time considered. (Previous experience preferred but not required. Previous applicants are welcome to resubmit). Please come to the hospital and applications will be available outside at the front of the building. Once completed, place it in the "completed" envelope that is there.

Something to think about as the cold weather is upon us.

During the cold winter months cats will often seek out any warm space they can find. One particularly irresistible lure seems to be the cozy confines of a warm car engine. Unfortunately, cats that seek shelter under the hoods of cars can then be injured or killed when that car is started.
