Hi everyone, we got great news we will start with spay neuter again the week of 11/20. These are very small numbers while the clinic is working to get everyone back up and running their regular numbers. So be on the lookout for texting from us.

Please please get the word out. Keep your pets close do NOT let them drink the water with all the debris and....in it. It is full of toxins and can kill your pet. Please keep them on a "short" leash and give them bottled water or boiled water. Everyone talk to your vet!!!!

We received an update from the Asheville clinic. All surgeries have been put on hold at this time and when they start back will pick up with those who were scheduled at the time now hurricane Helene. It will probably be a couple months.

We hope and pray everyone including the fur babies made it thru the storm alive and for those who lost Loved ones and fur babies our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.

Please text if you have questions or concerns. My service is not great and I sometimes get them and other times they come few days later. Please bear with me as I help our communities recover from Helene.

Hi everyone, if you have a scheduled appt with us this month for spay/neuter we are canceling as ASPCA is day by day operations and as I 40 is closed. No one can get thru. Phone services are coming on little by little. We pray everyone is good after the hurricane. I, myself cannot get out and I don't expect anyone else too either. We have some upcoming appointments available for Male dogs. These appts have weight limits of small (below 15 lbs) and Medium (16-30 lbs). To tell the truth I have about 7 large dogs on my list total for Males. If we don't have any that get registered, we might have to cancel the male dog spots when my list is done.

Beware of the Eclipse's danger to your pets. We are very sensitive to it...so are your fur babies. We know they want to lay in the sun. If yours are like mine the curtains have to be taped down!!!

April 8th 1:30 to 4:30

Please leave all your pets indoor with blinds and curtains closed on the day of the Eclipse for the safety of your animals! This came from a vet tech in Canada who is advising pet owners.

In fact every month I have a spot available to male and female dogs under the 35 lbs available at this clinic.

Run is full. I have other dates available as well....I have 3 spots for Male kitties available Jan 3 truck run. First come first gets. Neuter is 65, rabies 10, distemper is 10, microchip 15 and nail trim no chg. Rabies is required if not current. Also read our Great News post to find spay neuter form to register the pet. LOOKING FOR ANIMAL LOVERS!!!
Looking for a couple of Volunteers to help transport to and from our clinics in Asheville from Marion. We do at least one run per month but am willing to add more runs if I get great volunteers. On the first day for dropoff we usually work 6:45am til 9:15am. On the second day it is pickup at clinics at 9am to 11am....sometimes sooner. You will be using your personal vehicle so you must be able to carry cat carriers. All the dogs (except small ones) usually are sent self transport due to not having a vehicle to handle larger animals.

PCO has partnered with a clinic in ASHEVILLE!!! This is in addition to our partnership with ASPCA. This clinic has graciously given us some spots for Female dogs which we so desperately need to help clear my waiting list. With this I have to do some additional Male dogs, female and male cats. To be upfront with people they have regulations to follow and I am listing below:

1. ALL appointments are self transport. 7:45am dropoff & 3pm
pickup same day.
2. The clinic has a strict dropoff and pickup time and if you are
late, they charge a late fee per minute of $1.
3. Their pricing is higher than ours but lower than a vet's!!!
All pricing is Surgery with Rabies and Distemper shots:
Cats Male $100 Female $120
Dogs Male $135 Female $175
4. If your Female Dog or Cat is Pregnant there is an additional
charge of $10.
We know that I have a long waiting list and if you are on it....please send a message privately to me to see about getting a spot at this clinic.
If you are new and not on the current waiting list you MUST go fill out the form( in the Great News at top) to be placed on it first. PCO does its best to go by the list first for appts.
