Most rescues and fosters are already beyond full and just do not have the funds – even with donations or fundraisers – to dedicate to a course or training program for the dogs that truly need it.

I have a passion to help humans who foster, there is just not enough information teaching the problem-solving side of fostering dogs. Far too often with good intentions we quickly end up drowning in dogs and stuck in a heavy moral dilemma without support- because let's be real, these days everyone is drowning in dogs. Rescues and fosters need a safe space to learn and equip themselves with the tools for a wide variety of situations that they may end up in, now more than ever.

In an effort to meet that rising need, I have started a membership group, “Rene’s Humans”, a low-cost monthly membership designed to be support for those that need help with their foster dogs and/or are new to the world of dogs with behavior baggage. While the group is primarily aimed at education for fosters, I encourage dog owners to join as there are tons of overlap between fosters and dog owners (we all love these dogs don't we?)

Spicy dog communication course- 20% off through the end of the year :)

Most humans who work with me are already doing everything they can to address their dog’s issues. Usually I get a whole list of previous trainers and methods but… they all end with a frustrated human saying “nothing is working”.

If love could fix your dog’s behavior issues I wouldn't have a job. There are usually 2 core missing links behind why “nothing is working”
1- Your dog needs to learn they can be exposed to new things and not “die,” in fancy terms your dog needs to build an anticlimactic response to novelty and stress
2- You need to learn your dog’s purpose of behaviors so you can problem solve more efficiently. In other words you need response flexibility support before learning techniques.

With this course you will be able to build a foundation of communication with your dog when processing the environment by working with the environmental variables and your dog’s offered behaviors.

There is a resource library full of real examples with me training my dogs each skill for the first time to show relatable examples. My humans will also send me videos with them narrating things that don’t feel right while they are doing the exercise. This keeps the feedback relevant for everyone.
