Charles is only a few treats away from becoming your best bud. Charles is an older guy, around 7-8 years old. He was originally found as a stray, and was transferred to us from the Marion County Dog Pound. He loves attention and just wants to find his new person. Charles is looking for a home with older kids who will respect him and his personal space, as his hind end is sensitive and he is protective of his food. Charles is the size of a beagle and fits comfortably in our small dog kennels. If you can provide Charles with a soft place to land, please come say hi!
Stop what you are doing and enjoy this cuteness!! We have Butterfinger, Caramello, Kinderjoy, Payday, Twix, and Whatchanacallit available for adoption. All puppy adoption fees are $275, this includes required spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, monthly preventatives, a round of dewormer, and a microchip! We require all other dogs and children in the home to come in for a meet and greet prior to adoption. We run on a first come first served basis so make sure to come in asap if you are looking to take one of these babies home!
We forgot to tell Judie that shelter dogs are supposed to be sad! Look at that smile! Judie was found curled up on a strangerās porch, emaciated to the point where she could hardly walk. Luckily, the person who found Judie was able to take her to the vet and get her nursed back to health but was unable to keep her permanently. This is where you come in! Judie is looking for a comfy new home where she will never again have to worry about going hungry. Judie is a coonhound, estimated at eight years old. She seems to get along well with other dogs and would likely do well with gentle children. She does need a home without cats. Please come meet Judie! š©µ
Whatās that lump on Judieās neck, you ask? To our knowledge, it is a large skin tag!
UPDATE: ADOPTED!
Ozzy is a rambunctious one year old Aussie/Poodle mix. He has stubby little legs and the confidence of a gold medal Olympian. He is not comfortable around children and needs a home without them! He has been ādog selectiveā while at the shelter and gets along with certain dogs, and is picky about others. We were told he is housebroken, likes riding in cars, and needs lots of exercise. Please also keep in mind he will need regular grooming every 6-8 weeks! Ozzy is young and energetic and is going to be an awesome companion, he just needs to find the right person!
