Finn, the 3 year old American Pit Bull and his sister, Ember, the 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, have just come to the end of a a wonderful 6 day vacay! ☀️
Finn and Ember have had a great time at Hill Top, running and playing together for ages out in the pasture together. Ember the GSP is so fast with her long legs, she is like a gazelle! 🦌 It was so fun to watch her and Finn chase each other and sometimes wrestle even, because she is so tall and slim, and he is so short and stocky 😄
Finn is fast for a guy with little legs! He fell in love with a yellow ball that he rolled around in the grass with, and anytime his sister Ember snuck up to get it, he was on high alert to chase her away! 🏃♂️
We could really tell how much Finn and Ember love each other, it's adorable 🖤

This is the lovely 2 year old Shepherd mix, Brandi, who came for a short stay at Hill Top last week 🐶
Once Brandi decided she could trust us with her ball, she LOVED playing fetch out in the pasture. In fact, so much so, we had to be the ones to say okay I think maybe it’s time to rest now Brandi!! She is a wonderful lady and we’re so pleased that she felt comfortable here and enjoyed her stay! 🙏

This duo's relationship is so sweet. They love being in each other's company and do not like spending time apart from one another! Boomer is a bit more on the playful side and Puddle is slightly more calm - so they balance each other out perfectly. This is their fourth stay at Hill Top and they are a pleasure to look after each time they come ❤

This sweet girl is Scout, a 1 year old Irish Terrier, who has been at Hill Top for the past week and a half 😃
Scout has had an amazing time and LOVES her playtime out in the pasture. She's a ball of joy and liveliness, and is like the energizer bunny! 🐰
Much like a bunny too, Scout hops a lot because her front leg is a birth defect, so it's a bit shorter than her other legs. Her paw pads didn’t fully develop either, and some of the bones in her paws and wrist fused together as well. She’s always in good spirits despite this - that little lucky paw of hers does not stand in her way at all! 🙌
Moral of the story: Be more like Scout 🖤
