Beginner friendly stable offering Western and English riding lessons. We have after school programs available as well as lessons during the day Mon-Sat.

We have a good selection of great horses to lesson on as well as some available for on site lease! This page is dedicated to my lovely horse Leilani, and her achievements old and new! She was part of the Canadian Para Dressage Team who competed at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy France August 2014.

Even at 25, Miss Jade still has to get her steps in! Keeps her young! Best way she gets her steps in is music based interval training. I don’t know if she has an opinion about her favorite band yet though.

Ms.Jolene and Marvel had a wonderful lesson on steering today!

Jolene asked me a wonderful question today about what we do when bad weather hits? During events such as tornado’s or heavy storms, we will turn our horses out. It is much safer for our horses to be free to run from danger. If a tornado hits our barn, it could potentially hurt or kill any of our horses. Please stay safe this weekend with all the rain coming in from Hurricane Helene!

OK, everybody! Shady acres was officially going to change our name to Gentile Equestrian LLC, my husband, Tim Gentile, and myself owner operators. However, I guess Facebook thinks that our name is offensive so we may be starting a new page! If I am, I will invite each and everyone of you to join that page! since it’s so hard to get a hold of anybody with Facebook to try to get that ironed out I think this is probably our only route!
