I’ve joked that if you want a long life, love dogs…maybe I wasn’t far off! Betty lived a very long life and was an advocate for dogs. Even if you can’t support monetarily, your time to the dogs is just as precious. Consider our Marion Area Humane Society and Marion County Ohio Dog Pound when donating time and/or money.

Looking forward to seeing the new setup!!

You say you want an evolution? Well, you know after only a few handfuls of months serving and getting to know our book-lovin’ customers, it’s a bit of a monster to move a bookstore.

Thankfully, this move was through the hallway and around the ears of our neighboring tenants. Everything is officially in the new space. Now, we are ticking off to-dos as quickly as we can list them. While we had hoped tomorrow would have been our first official day in our new digs, it’s just not reasonable.

Rest assured (lit. ‘unsure’), this new location will feature both the familiar and the peculiar.

Thank you for your patience and good words. Take a moment to share before you scroll. The hardest thing for a small business is to be closed for an extended period. We’re determined to bring you an exciting venue for all your bookish needs, your independent bookstore.
