We have Dexter beef for sale! We are picking up beef from the processor this week and have 2 halves for sale for $5/lb hanging weight. If you haven’t tried Dexter beef, you will find it to be very tender as well as lean. Our butcher, Smith Valley Meats, dry aged the beef for a month to achieve optimal tenderness and flavor. Contact us if you are interested!

While we haven’t been active on Facebook, our Dexter herd has been growing! 3 calves were born last fall and we are preparing to wean them. We are going to need to reduce our herd size so we have several calves, cows, and even a bull available. More details coming soon!

We finished spring calving with 2 heifers and 2 bull calves. We are now working on our summer sales list and planning breeding pairs for next year. We will have weanlings, yearlings, and possibly even a milk cow for sale this summer!
