I have a retired male that is neutered and in need of a home ASAP. He has to be an only cat. He is very demanding of attention and doesn't want to share his humans attention. He is currently in a home that he is experiencing conflict with other cats and I've been informed that there is an appointment to have him put down if a home can't be found by next Wednesday. It is with heavy hearts that we will no longer be providing Emotional Support Animal kittens at a lower price. This is mostly due to the ability to purchase a doctors authorization of an ESA cat.

This decision was also made after a recent in person visit to select a kitten in which the person whom the kitten was for had no interest in a kitten. It was very clear by the questions being asked that the kitten was wanted by the parent as an assesory rather than a mental health aid. It is unclear if the child did have a mental or emotional health problem. This person also has tried to bully us into breaking protocol and acted a as if we as an experienced breeder didn't know what was best for a kitten.

We will no longer be taking applications for ESA kittens and have suspended our Iowa Nudes Cattery ESA group at this time.

We will be using our discretion when placing kittens by asking even more questions so we know which kitten would be best to offer each family.

We will also no longer keeping a wait list. We will post available kittens when they are approximately 8-10 weeks old. So if you are looking to add one of our kittens to your family keep uptodated with our page by liking it above. This decision is due to the constant questions and requests for pictures daily. I have a full time carrer as a tax professional and don't have time for daily photo shoots. This being said we will continue to post at least once weekly to keep everyone up to date. It will also make the wait time less to your family.

As a breeder we often have people that threaten us and try the bully us. It is often hard to know what to do. I am currently dealing with a family that decided not to proceed with a kitten placement then blocked me from social media because they were notified their kitten had developed a rash. They responded by insisting to come get the kitten right away. As any good breeder would do this kitten had already been to the vet and was on medication. The kittens rash is all cleared up. I have been un able to respond however I keep getting messages from them because a few days after their decision to proceed they changed their mind. Please understand that as breeders we find placement for kittens quickly because they are on a schedule to leave around the same time as a litter. This kitten has been placed elsewhere. Threatening to drag a breeders name through the mud and calling them names is not acceptable. So Kathy Drake you can take this as my response that the kitten is not available and you deposit is non refundable per all our paperwork. If there are any questions from anyone I would be happy to share the entire conversation from when I was first contacted through today's threat to spread all through social media about how unprofessional I am. This was a ESA placement and was going to be free to them aside from the $250 deposit. The funds to provide this kitten have been transfered to another ESA family on the waiting list that will be getting their kitten Saturday.

Just some items I want to bring to everyones attention:

Deposits are not refundable if YOU decide not to continue with the purchase of a kitten. A replacement kitten will be offered if it is our decision not to place the original kitten with you due to illness or death. However this new kitten is under the same conditions as the original kitten once a kitten has been identified and accepted by you. Asking for a refund will not be honored as stated on all our paperwork.

Contract is void if you do not take the new mitten to a vet and can provide a copy to us. This it to protect us, you and more importantly your new kitten. We are not responsible for any vet bill's after the kitten leaves our care without proof kitten was seen by a vet within 48 hours unless stated on the contract. Waiting 21 days to contact us and not being able to provide and vet records will not result in any compensation of any kind.

We rarely have any issues of this kind but there are a lot of dishonest people in the world today and this has lead us to the decision to make this post. We work hard to resolve all conflict as we cherish our kittens and feel their new family is an extension of ours. We have many references upon request but there is always going to be conflict when dealing with people of different opinions. We also have excellent vet references. We take our kittens and adult queens and kings very seriously and always seek prompt vet assistance when needed.

Finally I will add that when we are in process of resolving an issue and you limit our contact by unfriending us or by not responding with in 72 hours this will be seen as a termination of resolution on your part. We keep record of all contact. And will not be bullied. Any tortious interference or slander will be taken seriously and may result in legal action if required.

New litter arrived last night. We thought we just had 2 thermal males, 1 thermal female and 1 black female but when I got up later to check on them there was an orange tabby male too! There could be elfs since momma is an elf!

UPDAT: Tommy is going to join one our existing Iowa Nudes Kitten Families! Thank you Lizette for a being a great home to the other two kittens from our cattery.

Tommy remains unmatched after our wait list has picked. He does have hair that makes him look like he is wearing pants. He is a red tabby and he is the most effectionate outgoing kitten of the litter.
