So sorry we haven't updated our page. Whew, so many things to think about these days. Anyway, Happy Dog is open. We're offering our services by appointment only, keeping our lobby closed to reduce personal contact. This, of course, is in the interest of health and safety for our staff and customers. We are mostly caught up from our hiatus so we are are accepting new dogs. Can't wait to see you, even with your mask. Feel free to contact us at 906 458 1515 to leave a message. Effective immediately we will be closing due to the Stay Home Stay Safe executive order issued by the state. We will reopen when we get the all clear. We will also contact those who have appointments to try and reschedule for when we reopen. Thank you for understanding, please stay safe and stay healthy!

We are teaming up with Mares Z Doats to help our dog community during this national emergency. If you are financially effected during the closures and are in need for pet food or supplies contact us as we can help lessen the load a bit. We hope everyone stays happy and healthy during this time frame and spends lots of time giving their furbabies extra cuddles!

***FOUND GOLDEN RETRIEVER ON CO RD. 480 AND U.S. 41 NEAR KASSEL'S, CHOCOLAY TWP., MARQUETTE CO., MI***
CURRENTLY SAFE AT UPAWS SHELTER. WAS HIT BY A CAR. PLEASE SHARE TO FIND HIS OWNERS.

This is the dog that was apparently hit by a car earlier today. We found him by my moms on 480. One leg looks injured and cries at times. We did feed him and give him water. Not sure what else to do because I can't have dogs in my building.

Hello everyone, Rick here.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, the last week of February first week of March we might be closed for a week or two. Kim R. will be on vacation, and my wife Kim BC. and I are expecting a new little two legged puppy "aka our first baby". So I'm wanting to take a couple weeks off with my new growing family so I can help Kim recuperate as well as bond as much as possible with our little Girl.
