Has Franklin, Frankie, Frankster possessed you with his steely eyes yet? This guy is all around star. He's smart, adorable, friendly enough, but truly loyal and dedicated to his mom. He picks up new skills like an ace and masters them quickly because motivation is probably his favorite word in the dictionary. Any university would accept Frankie on his grades, athleticism, and nice guy personality. Challenging him is one of my favorite things to do. 😁

Congratulations on graduating Elementary Dogs, Frankie. We hope to see you again for Junior Dogs!

Mikko is a fan favorite with the humans and dogs around here. Despite his rough start at life and his quirky struggles, he is quite the social butterfly. In fact, I would say it's his primary motivation to life. Luckily for us, he has no problems also liking the treat-os. He just keeps on getting better! He even joined us for his first try at daycare and played with a dog off leash for the first time ever. It was goofy, and he loved it (šŸ˜‰ thanks goes out to Harlow). Mikko just keeps on impressing us.

Congratulations on graduating Elementary Dogs Mikko. We know we will be seeing you soon!

Delta is a beautiful boy who completed our puppy class and is excited to move on to Kinderpups class. Delta loved coming to class and seeing all of his friends, but getting here can be tough when you can get a little car sick. But that didn’t slow him down one bit. A little shy week one but very social after that first week. One week he was a tiny little baby boy and the next week he was a big mature looking puppy! They grow so fast and Delta is going to be a big puppy! Happy training to Delta and Dad! We know we will be seeing more of you both very soon!

I have a soft spot for a bernedoodle. Bigger the better and Finnegan is no exception. Currently growing through his awkward puppy phase where he is mostly made of long, gangly legs. Finnegan had a blast in puppy class. Being a big puppy can be hard sometimes but Finnegan was happy to accommodate his smaller friends. Adolescence is moving in quick for Finnegan but mom is tackling it head on by continuing on with Kinderpups right away to keep up on his skills and manners. It’s been a few weeks, he’s probably huge! Happy graduation Finnegan. We will see you so very soon!

Happy graduation to Oslo, the goodest of boys. Oslo is a super socializer which is code for ā€œI love everyone and everything.ā€ Oslo absolutely crushed puppy class and truly loved every second of it. He loved his friends a lot but wasn’t afraid to disengage from them and work on his training. Oslo is moving up to Kinderpups in a few weeks where we are excited to continue his training together and he even gets to hang out with some puppy class buddies in the next cycle! Congrats Oslo and family on a job well done! Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks!

This handsome nugget is Atlas, a border collie with a heart big enough to love everyone he meets. Being a border collie, naturally, he is a smart cookie! Basic skills and manners were no biggie for him and playing with his buddy Oslo was always a bonus! Atlas presented with some resource guarding but mom and dad asked the right questions and followed through with our advice and are happy to report he is doing so much better with sharing his things! We are so proud of Atlas and family and can’t wait to start Kinderpups in a few weeks! Happy graduation Atlas!

This is Todd, a most handsome, lovable boy. Todd loved being in class with friends. He couldn’t get enough of them. Although Todd was very excited to be in class he was still able to put his listening ears on tackle his intro to basic skills and manners. Todd is going to enjoy the next few weeks being a puppy as his family welcomes a new tiny human to the mix! Hopefully when things settle down, we will see Todd back in class but in the meantime, congrats to Todd and family for completing puppy class!

Meet little Miss Gemma. Gemma is a beautiful black lab lady who loves life and all of its mystery. Gemma loves her friends, she loves her humans, she loves her classes and loves the idea of learning new things. Gemma is already half way through Kinderpups class where she continues to show off her skills and manners. She is an excited girl, working on her impulses but at her current age, she is absolutely crushing it!!! Congrats Gemma and family!

Winston has stolen my heart from day 1. He might actually make me get a springer spaniel one of these days. This little guy is so smart and so willing to learn! Winston finished puppy class and mom wanted to keep the training going so we have done some private sessions while waiting for the next level class! Adolescence is upon Mr. Winston and he has discovered his bark but we are working through it!! Winston has done wonderful in our private sessions and is ready to start his new class this weekend! Congrats Winston and Mom! Keep up the good work!

Giant puppy alert! Okay, so he technically turned one year old, but these big kids take a lot longer to mature in all ways. Monty did show a lot of maturity over the last few months, though. Before getting him back into classes we did some private sessions to work on his self-control and decided when placing him back into class his main goal would be learning how exist without demanding to greet and play with all the other dogs. We didn't care much about his basic skills at all. Then, at the end of class, he showed us he was learning from all sides the entire time and also got great scores on his assessments. You go Monty dude!

Congratulations on graduating Elementary Dogs Monty! We hope we will be seeing you soon for more!

Wallace's journey in class was different than many. He came into class kind of a nerd, but he needed to grow confidence in making friends. It took just a few minutes to warm up to humans, which was good. But by his 2nd or 3rd week, he was starting to trust a couple of his classmates. Then there was, of course, big boy Monty (check out his grad post too!), who thinks everyone should be his best friend, and he will stare and boof into their souls until that happens. He was Wallace's biggest challenge, and yet, I believe it was on weeks 5 and 6 they finally were able to greet a few short times. This was definitely a huge success for Wally, and we hope his confidence will continue to do nothing but grow!

Congratulations on graduating Elementary Dogs Wallace. We'd love to see you again for Junior dogs!

Talk about maturity! Of course, Poppy still has her quirks, but the difference between her Kinderpups and Elementary dogs personas was incredible! She was totally with it most days and showed off how well she can infact listen and learn. She is the proof that sticking it out thru adolescence does pay off and you'll get a sweetie pie at the end.

Congratulations on graduating Elementary Dogs Poppy. Keep up the great work and we hope to see you again soon!
