We truly don't know who the dog in these pictures is. Cause this is not the adorable face of Poppy who smiled at me each week as I taught class. This girl is just giving an "annoyed to wait" for her graduation pup cone face. Julie even tried extra to get a picture of a sweet, normal Poppy face, but this is all she'd give. 😅 Poppy is a super fun, generally happy, friendly girl. A typical child she presents as a nice, well-rounded girl in class but gives mom the trouble at home! Regardless, we are proud of her overall progress and can't wait to see her move on to the next class soon.

Brynley is a chocolate lab, and her personality matches her color. I'd call her dark chocolate (my favorite). She's sweet, full of flavor, and can be paired with a lot of things to create a masterpiece. Of course, as adolescent Labrador Retrievers go, she's still full of pizazz and boundless energy. Mom knows she's got more work to do so we're excited she'll be moving on to Elementary Dogs soon.

Motivated and Lola belong in the same sentence. This girl knows what she wants, and she'll perform like an angel to get it! Yes, that's pretty typical for a working dog, but Lola puts her extra splash of sparkle and sass on top!

When you're adopted at 11 years old and haven't been exposed to much, coming into class is a bit like traversing thru a new universe. Buddy did it like a champ. His goals for class were unique, but his progress was unbeatable! Week one was mostly lap snuggles and food refusal, and week 6 was eating his favorite snacks and walking past everyone. We did run him thru his assessment as a formality. Some things he's like "I don't need to do that, I'm mature." And other things were like,"Yay, Buddy, you're a champ!"

Congratulations on graduating Kinderpups class, and we're so excited to keep watching you get braver in Elementary Dogs soon!

This is the sweet face of Callie. Callie is the type of golden that makes everyone want one. She's fluffy, she's adorable, and she's oh so snuggly. Her only real struggle in class is when someone ***cough*** erin...***cough*** walks into and out of the classroom whilst eating jerky. That was her biggest distraction to date! Otherwise, she definitely needed regularly scheduled snuggle breaks with all the willing humans in class. She will keep prepping for more training and future therapy work when Mom is all recovered from an injury.

I don't know how Rosie has already graduated 3 classes with us because to me, she's still a little baby! From preschool thru elementary dogs, she's growing up and showing maturity each and every week. She still continues to be her super sweet, extra social butterfly ready to make friends with any dog or person. I'm so glad we will get to keep seeing her sweet face with her regular grooming with Rick.

Higgins is the life of the party. Higgins is one of those puppies that just wants to hang with everyone. Although the tiny breeds in class overstimulated him, he had a blast playing with his size appropriate friends each week.

I loved having Higgins in class! He’s a great socializer and overall good boy and can’t wait to get him back in the classroom for Kinderpups class!

Look at this beautiful puppy! Dutton is a gentleman and a ham. I think he knows how handsome he is. Watching large breed puppies grow is always a treat. Dutton is all legs currently and it’s so cute. As he grew into his giant feet, his skills and manners grew as well!! Dutton is going to be a very large guy so mom and dad are keeping up on his training by moving on to the next level!!

I’m obsessed with Dutton and cannot wait to keep working with him!!

Frankie is the class nerd. And also, look at those eyes!!! His number one goal in class was to learn and pay attention to mom and he was incredible in both of those tasks! We all know aussies are gifted in their ability to learn new skills and are so loyal to their humans! Frankie was a little shy with his classmates but really he just wanted friends who were a little more chill like him.

Frankie is moving on to Kinderpups next month and we can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next!!

This adorable little girl is Dani, and she has taken my heart! A mini version of my own dog at home, it was impossible not to fall in love with her! She is incredibly smart and spunky, and maybe a little shy with her new dog friends but as the weeks went on, her confidence grew more and more!

Dani will be moving on to Kinderpups next month and we can’t wait to see her back in the classroom!

This big guy is Gus, a real gentleman. Gus stole our hearts week 1 of class with his silly, goofy play style. As the weeks went on, his calm and chill demeanor stayed with him throughout the whole class! Gus met lots of puppy friends in class and did an amazing job with his skills and manners!

Gus is already signed up for Kinderpups class and we are all looking forward to watching Gus grow in all the best ways!!

This little nugget is Kirby. Kirby is so precious and adorable and fun. His cute little face just melts my heart!! Kirby is here to show everyone how awesome it is to be a small poodle! He is a natural at his skills and manners and an overall good boy!

Kirby is joining us for his second level of class with us in just a few weeks and am so looking forward to seeing him grow in size and smarts!!!

Say hello to the beautiful Miss Soka. Soka is a lover and overall great pup! I love meeting a dog like Soka because she has it all! The smarts, the fun, the sass and the love!!
Soka came to puppy class during a slow time of the year for us and in the beginning didn’t have a lot of puppy friends but as the weeks went on, classes picked up and this girl got to meet so many puppies and she was amazing with all of them!!

Soka is currently enrolled in Kinderpups class where she is a natural with her skills and manners!!

Monty is a big goof ball!! Being young and big can be a challenge for Mom when it comes to his sheer strength! Working on good leash skills was a big priority but sometimes Monty just wanted to hang with his class buddies!

Monty aced his assessment and is moving onto some private lessons to work on understanding his size and getting his skills with mom on point!! He’s a smart, sweet guy with lots of love to share….and maybe some drool!

Congrats Monty!! We will of course see more of you around these parts!

Congrats to Finnley for completing Kinderpups class!! Finnley is so sweet and super smart and this dude loves loves loves his toys!!! He made it through Kinderpups and passed very easily but it’s no secret that him and Tallulah are the class clowns, distracting each other so much we had to use a lot of barriers!! But he managed to get it together just in time for assessments!!

Finnley is working on elementary level currently and adolescence is in full swing for this dude but we know he’s smart and will do just fine!!

We love having you all in class! Keep up the good work!

Another class down for this beautiful girl, Tallulah!! As predicted, her and her best bud Finnley were the class clowns for Kinderpups but of course they both did wonderful despite their level of distraction for each other!! Tallulah is a smart spunky girl who knows what she wants and sometimes ignoring Mom is what she wants to do but that’s just adolescence sometimes!! Tallulah has moved on to Elementary class with her buddy Finnley but her eyes have settled on a new guy, Osky!!! Stay tuned for the romantic journey of Tallulah’s heart!!! Who will she pick at the end of this six week class? Finnley, or Osky??
