Meet Rosie.

Rosie is a doll!! So very sweet, smart and snuggly. She loved her friends Bruno and Rosco. She loved class and learning and being a cute teachers pet!! Rosie has big plans for her future and she has everything it takes for therapy dog work! Already signed up for Kinderpups, she is well on her way!

Congratulations Rosco!

Rosco is as sweet as pie! Always calm and gentle and chill in class! I’m pretty sure he is a golden retriever mixed with sugar because he literally melts into your lap or onto his back for some belly scritches!

Rosco is joining me for Kinderpups class next week to continue his education and possibly to continue melting my heart.

Can’t wait to see you some more Rosco! ❤️

Hartley might have the cutest glow up puppy pictures! The smile is EVERYTHING!!

Hartley is nothing but love and fluff and smarts. Look at that face! 😭 Hartley is ready for fall classes with us! He soared through puppy class like it was nothing! He has all the goods! A social boy with brains and fun we love to see!

Ohh Alfie has my heart as all big dogs do.
Alfie is a gentleman and a scholar. He was by far the biggest puppy in class but his gentle nature made all the puppies very comfortable!

Already moving on to Kinderpups with his buddy River the GSD, I know he will continue to grow not just in smarts but size as well! Alfies fur dad weighed in at 189lbs!!! 🤯 so we can expect big things from you, dude!

I was just laughing with Rick that I have had so many black lab puppies in class that going through my pictures I am struggling to tell who is who!!

This is River! River has been a popular name this summer and we love it!

River is a happy boy with the wiggly lab butt to go along with it. He loved coming to puppy class and he enjoyed his friends so much that each week he would give mom and dad a little bit of trouble when it was time to get to class work and take a break from friends! Although we occasionally used some barriers to help him out he managed to get class work done as well!!

River is coming back this fall for some more training with us! We are looking forward to seeing you again! Congratulations River! ❤️

These 2 loved each other in preschool, and when they reunited in daycare a few months ago, the love continued! Then come to find out their parents tell us their birthdays are both tomorrow, August 10th! So it seems the 2 just have a crazy connection.

I had to make a silly collage of blurry play pictures because there's no such thing as a clear one.

I added a bonus side by side of Lynx and Scout now, and in October of last year (they've both changed soooo much 🥺)!

Happiest Birthdays to Harlow the Pyredoodle and Scout the Schnauzer! Cheers to many more!

Congratulations are in order for Eddie, a very special black lab.

Eddie has had some struggles learning how to be a puppy, specifically puppy biting when he starts feeling really big feelings.

Dealing with extreme puppy behavior can be such a challenge and really puts new puppy morale in the tank! We are so proud of Eddie and his whole family for all of their hard work.

Eddie is a smart boy, moving on to the next level of classes to continue working that brain of his! Keep up the good work Eddie and family!

This is River. River is another testament to what we really do here at TacoMo. ❤️ When we met River, she was a very scared puppy, unsure about new friends. She took comfort in her class work and having mom and dad with her.

Slowly, we gave River the space to experience puppy class from a distance at first and with her growing confidence she was able to overcome it all!

Last week of puppy class brought literal tears to our eyes as she engaged in play with her friends, rolling around, a completely changed girl!

We are so proud of you River! And of course an extra special shout out to Mom and Dad for not giving up on her!

River just started Kinderpups class and Kim text me pictures of her playing with even more friends! It’s dogs like River that make our hearts so full!

Finnegan. ❤️

As I am constantly stating I am chronically behind on these graduation posts, this one goes out to Finnegan.

Pictures included are week 1 puppy class, week 6 puppy class AND Kinderpups graduation!!

Finnegan is a true black lab through and through. He has all the quirks of a lab but mostly the brains. He gets the work done and looks handsome as ever when he does it!

Hazel loved puppy class! Seeing everyone and friends was always the best! Although she doesn’t look much bigger from week 1 and week 6, there was so much growth inside and out!

Meet Marley! Marley graduated puppy class with flying colors! She has all the goods! Her looks for certain can get her anything she wants, really but alas she is willing to put in the work as well! Smart, silly, and full of love, congrats to Marley!

This boy has my heart, and he knows it! Jace is a special little guy (his photos make him look bigger than he is). We've worked a lot together on just being calm around dog friends and listening despite distractions. Class isn't always easy for him to focus, but mom reports he's nearly a perfect dog at home. Who could ask for more? I can, lol! I strive to continue helping Jace be good in all aspects of the world so he can be his best self wherever mom may want to take him. He was a good boy for his grad pic, but I couldn't help myself and included the action shot of him springing up towards his pup cup. He looks like he thoroughly enjoyed it! Congratulations to Jace on Graduating Elementary Dogs!

If you're an angel and you go through the shortest adolescent period ever of not listening for like a week and a half, you must be named Rooty. Cause that's this girl. She jokingly earned the title of "nerd" during Kinderpups because despite being the youngest in class, she could do it all with ease. That mostly continued into Elementary despite occasionally forgetting she had ears. I highly look forward to watching what this sweet girl is going to accomplish with her skills as she keeps growing. Congratulations on Graduating Elementary Dogs, Rooty!

Tenzie loves to make picture taking hard on me. But what we got outta that is lots of cute pictures! Things her face says: #1. Fine, I sits. #2. See, still adorable when I stand. #3. Oooh, that looks yummy! #4. Um, no, I'm not gonna eat that..." This girl is the absolute silliest dog! She wants to play with the friends but she doesn't know how. She wants to listen to her mom, but then she won't in front of people. She wants to get all sassy, loud and start a party, then she wants to be a quiet angel and pretend she had no part in the craziness. And she's sooo loved and loveable. I tease, but I know she's so capable, and we will keep working together soon! Congratulations on Graduating Elementary Dogs, Tenzie!

Doesn't Bunny have the sweetest face? The first time she saw me at her meet and greet, she was like, "Bark, bark, I don't know you..." and by the end of class, she was like,"Hey, cool people, we don't have to be besties, but I can still be polite and give brief greetings." There were days she didn't give 2 raisins about listening and others she was spot on (but that's always to be expected with an adolescent)! Then we figured out, Bunny likes dem toys! Pick up the right one, and you've got her attention. Hide a squeaker in your pocket, and she'll perk right up. Her face in her 2nd pic is like: "Are you sure this is for me?"

We know her and mom are off to great things and adventures together. Congratulations on graduating Elementary Dogs, Bunny!

Say hello to Otto.

Otto grew so much in six weeks! His cute curly hair and beautiful eyes are very much the same but on a bigger body!

Otto is so smart and was such a great boy in class! He loved socializing but knew when it was time to work! Otto is patiently waiting for a fall class to continue his skills and manners!

Congratulations to Marti.

Marti holds a special place in my heart. A little nervous and shy in class but she found some room in her heart for me.

Class was sometimes a little difficult for Marti because she was just a little unsure. Mom did a wonderful job showing Marti that the world is a fun place with lots of offer. We loved watching her confidence grow a little each week!

Meet Halo 😇

Yes, she is in fact an angel by definition. Halo was rescued from deaths door by her mom from a kill shelter, a fate that so many pups face in this world. Lucky for us, this little girl was rescued just in time and our world is a better place for it.

A shy girl in the beginning who blossomed into a confident girl with love to give! She loved working with mom and learning that she can earn a snacky for just being a good girl!

Freya is my kind of girl! She’s got the fluff, the smarts and personality that says “let’s work!!”
A beautiful blend of smarts and s***k, Freya absolutely crushed class! Freya and her family made the trip down from the Houghton area every week for training! The dedication to the class and to the training was everything we love to see at TacoMo! Freya is looking to do more training with us in the fall so you will absolutely be seeing her cute face again!!

Hugo is a gentleman and a scholar. A shy and quiet puppy in puppy class who has grown up to be a social talker from time to time!! Hugo loved Kinderpups and being with new friends. His skills and manners are stellar and with those ears, those eyes and extra skin, he has so much to offer this world. Keep being the bestest boy Hugo! We will see you back for classes soon!

Cuteness alert! Say hello to Neena, the sweetest girl there ever was! Neena has come through a few of our classes and watching her grow has been a pleasure! Neena is a lucky girl with a perfect little family to keep her busy! With two littles at home her days are filled with fun and adventures and mom and dad continue to teach her what being a good girl is all about!

Fern has been with us since puppy class!! Being the border collie he is, naturally he excels at all skills and manners!! Being around other dogs can still be a struggle but Dad is always maintaining his focus a on the task at hand! All signed up for a Junior Dogs, he is ready to keep at it!

Before our week off for the 4th and family fun, I graduated a bunch of junior dogs. This is our 2nd year offering this class, and I love it so much! I get to challenge dogs and their paw-rents to up their skills and watch them grow. Click thru each photo for their bios and send them some love!

Say hello to Jasmine, aka Jazzy. Jasmine comes from a home filled with so much love and compassion and siblings that her heart is pouring with her own love and compassion to give.

This sweet girl has graduated puppy class, kinderpups and elementary class and is awaiting her spot in junior dogs class! Not only is she absolutely precious, she’s here to show the world that little dogs can be very skilled and mannered as well! She rocks her skills and she loves her friends!

Wilma was one of 3 littermates we had the pleasure of working with and each of them were so different from each other!

Wilma has done puppy class, kinderpups, elementary class and is on the waitlist for Junior Dogs.

Wilma is well on her way to “goodest girl” status even though adolescence can be hard!

This is Dean.

I love Dean. He is the goofiest dog I’ve ever met with a personality the size of the universe. Dean was a little insubordinate in class from time to time. We know he knows his skills but he likes to act like his brain is empty and just be cute and silly and make everyone laugh.

Say hello to the beautiful Arwen.

Arwen is a delightful husky girl with the husky personality through and through and a face that melts your heart!

Arwen loves classes and working and eating snacks! She showed some guarding issues early on and mom and dad were immediately on it and met with us privately to tackle that particular issue!

Arwen is coming back for elementary class where we know she will rock it! Happy graduation Arwen! We are excited to see you back in the classroom!
