This handsome boy is Dakota and he truly is the bestest boy. Dakota is a large GSD who has the smarts and motivation to learn pretty much anything! Dakota and I have spent a lot of time together in class and is sessions! Mom and dad want to do it right this time with Dakota so they worked privately as well! Dakota loves coming to puppy class and naturally he excelled in all of his skills and manners! Keep being a smart and handsome dude, Dakota! Congratulations!

Idk what it is about Marley but I’m obsessed with his cuteness, omg! Not only is he so fricken cute but he’s fun and smart too! Marley loved puppy class so much. Meeting friends, rough housing, and being a super socializer was the absolute best for Marley! Marley is moving on to Kinderpups, as he should, because I would be devastated if he didn’t and I can’t wait to continue to watch him grow and maybe snuggle him from time to time! EmmyLou is all legs and love and excitement! She came to puppy class as a long legged gal and left puppy class with even longer legs! We all love a beautiful rottie puppy here at TacoMo and this last two months we got blessed with two! This one is Lucy and she is as sweet as pie! Lucy is an exceptional puppy who learns very fast and loves to train! Lucy is currently enrolled in Kinderpups where she continues to excel in all of her skills and manners and we are happy to be a part of her journey and watching her grow in size and smarts!

This handsome boy is Niko and he has stolen my heart. I’ve always wanted a male Rottweiler and Niko is definitely scratching that itch for me. He is sweet and gentle and pudgy and I’m obsessed with him! I’ve had very few rottie puppies in my career so far and was lucky to get two the last two months! Niko and Lucy are in Kinderpups class together which is the highlight of my week seeing the two of them together! Congrats Niko and Mom!!

This absolute beauty is Maeve and she is a border collie who thought puppy class was for napping! Maeve is a classic example of a puppy who is a little shy but when we give her the space to make decisions she wants and comfort her, she will blossom into a confident little puppy! Maeve is almost through Kinderpups where her confidence has soared and we truly love to watch it happen! One of the best parts of the job is seeing this kind of transformation and we are happy to be a part of it! Mom and dad, keep up the awesome work with Maeve!

This beautiful boy is Arthur and he recently graduated from puppy class! Week 1 Arthur said “no thank you” to learning how to lay down but when he came back for weeks 2-6 he showed us he could in fact lay down and it quickly became his preferred state of existence in class as he didn’t want to get back up. Arthur took laying down on his mat very serious after the first week and it become one of his best skills! Arthur is already taking on Kinderpups class like the nerd that he is and we love to see it! Bubbles is as bubbly as his namesake. He started out in puppy class a little unsure of the new environment but after a few weeks he realized that puppy class is fun and exciting and meeting new friends and playing isn’t so scary, although he did want his space when he needed it and communicated his feelings about it very appropriately! Bubbles is all registered for Kinderpups class and we can’t wait to get him back in the classroom for training!

Oh Oscar, a man of my heart. Oscar has to be the calmest golden puppy I’ve ever met. His demeanor in class made all the shy puppies feel so welcome and safe. He was so good with the other puppies that you would think it was his job. Oscar doesn’t just have a calming presence about him, but he is quite a smartie pants as well! Oscar is all signed up for Kinderpups as well and I’m very excited to get to keep working with him! Congrats Oscar!!

Berners are so cute when they are puppies! Basically giant balls of fluff and fun and Beau is no exception! Beau was a little unsure of puppy class the first week but quickly realized how much fun it actually is and before we knew it all we wanted to do was play with friends and not do class but eventually he would put his training hat on and get to work! Large puppies sure grow fast and I’m betting he is a very large puppy now and hope to see him in classes again! Congrats Beau! Keep up the good work!

Look at the ears on this little lady. This is Koda and she so so so sweet and cute. Koda was a little shy to start but also learned that puppy class can be fun! Koda has a littermate at home named Zeus that she is very fond of! Koda and Zeus both joined us for Friday daycare where they alternate weeks of fun with us at TacoMo. I imagine Koda has grown into some of her ears by now or maybe they just get bigger and bigger! Either way, she is still cute as ever and an overall good girl! Happy graduation Koda!!

This dude here is Andy Grammer. His first big single, "Keep your head up" came out during a time when I wondered if I should keep pushing to keep trying at this dog training thing. I was a young trainer pushing past traditional training methods that I didn't feel were kind or right to the dogs we are supposed to love. Needless to say, listening to the song whenever I had doubts helped me keep trying. His music has continued to grow, and he himself pushes out positive, kind messages with his music, which isn't always popular. His music has continued to grow, and with our similar ages, we've also gone thru young, dedicated love and parenthood around the same times. As the 30s decade was ending and I was feeling my self more than caring what other people think and confirming my own identity he came out with "Damn it feels good to be me" and these lyrics stuck with me: "I know that I'm not everyone's cup of tea" which is where you guys come in. You use your word of mouth and recommendations to send people our way that you know will like us. And on top of that, we don't try to hide who we are. Who we are is a couple of big kid, people pleasing, nice "guys" who usually put everyone else first. For that we say THANK YOU! And we only hope to keep making things better and happier for you and your doggos each and every year.
