After more than 6 months of searching, we are beyond excited to have Anneli (pictured center) joining our team as our groomer! Beyond her amazing talent, what stood out the most was her unwavering commitment to excellence and passion for her work.

Anneli currently owns a successful salon in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh and will be joining us 1 day a week, every 2 weeks. Her next available date for appointments will be July 1.

🚧 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - Wed, 5/15/24 🚧

As of 8:15am, they are digging a trench directly across our driveway entrance. They will put a steel plate down for you to enter and exit our driveway but there may be a slight delay.

They have told us they should be wrapped up with this portion by around 9am. Will update further if they changes.

⚠️🚧 ROAD WORK ALERT 🚧⚠️

The ongoing roadwork on Three Degree Road has made it to just in front of our entrance!

They will be having 10-15 minute stoppages today due to digging a trench across the road.

Here is a helpful ways to get around the stoppages while still being able to get into our driveway!

If Coming from Route 228…
➡️ Right onto Hammond Road
⬅️ Left onto Three Degree Road
⬅️ Left onto Huch Road
⬅️ Left onto Valencia Road (just north of BCPR)
➡️ Right into our entrance!

Hello 😃

As we enter the upcoming summer travel season we want to make sure that every dog who stays here for a summer vacation is able to have as much fun as possible and participate in group play. If you have been chillin’ comfortably at home since last year, we are requiring an annual assessment before allowing group play again.

The first year of a dogs life is the equivalent of 15 for a human, and each year after is typically the equivalent of 4 or 5 years. That’s a lot of time and a lot can change! We appreciate your cooperation as we strive to provide the best possible experience for each pup who stays here 🙏❤️🐶

We are changing our daycare hours on Saturdays. Our hours are now 9am to 5pm ❤️🐶

For all future boarding reservations, we are still sticking with the usual process of calling us at 412-559-4547 to make the initial reservation and pay the deposit.

HOWEVER, all drop offs and pick ups for boarding will now be scheduled through our website. if there are any questions, please not hesitate to call us.

Hello! We recently experienced out first IT issue with our online daycare booking system. So, without your boring IT department update, here is the summary:

It has been resolved!!!

In the mean time, here is a happy dog version of what took place (purely for your enjoyment).

Our daycare booking system received some unusually large playtime and decided to crash like a dog who ate too much after a holiday meal. Appointment times went missing and the system chased its tail for the last 48 hours without us knowing. A few clients with eyes like a sight hound kindly let us know that our microchips were malfunctioning. After giving the website a fresh bath and some trazadone, it has calmed down and we are back in business!

BARRRRRRRRRRK!

My name is Minka! I am the Chief of Police here at the retreat. The first picture, that’s me when I’m off duty and playing at the retreat (Instagram) The second pic is my one for the precinct (LinkedIn 😂).

I believe that you should work hard, play hard and serve your community. During our scheduled rest time, I always like to keep one eye open and make sure that everyone is safe and sound (and following the local noise ordinance during nap time) ❤️💤

If playtime starts to move too quickly and dogs are exceeding the maximum speed limit, I use my big voice to let everyone know to slow down 💨

As you can see by the photo, I too like to let loose & have a good time! Provided that you have vaccines and proof of registration, I hope to play with you soon!

Hewooooo! Mia & Milo here, taking a moment out of our busy schedules to hijack Instagram to wish our #1 dog dad, Colin, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳🎂 He would never let our mom post something on social media but he won’t yell at us (don’t let him fool you if he says he does, we have expert level puppy eyes😉). If you know our dad, you know he is the best belly rub giver, ball thrower, back massager & treat giver (though we think he can always give more of those!).
