I apologize for being quiet for so long. My 3 yr old pittie mix was diagnosed with lymphoma and deteriorated quickly- passing away within a month of diagnosis. The pantry was put on the back burner although I continued helping families and pets in need quietly.

I’ll be posting more regularly going forward 💚🐾

Back in the cold, short days of February I received a call from a longtime client. Bobby was reaching out to schedule a photo session for his beloved Bitzy. His English Mastiff would be celebrating her 12th birthday in May. That's well over 4,000 days full of sniffing, playing, walking and unconditionally loving her bestie.

We put a lot of time and planning into what was to be a fabulously fun session with Bitzy. We chose colors, ordered cake, designed flowers, commissioned a custom collar...

Unfortunately this beautiful girl's health took a quick turn and she passed before her session. May 17th would have been Bitzy's 12th birthday.

I think it's so important to celebrate those you love in artwork in your home. Just three years ago I photographed Bitzy so Bobby would have a nice reference to give a tattoo artist for a piece he was planning. At that time I encouraged him to join Bitzy and I took a few frames of the two.

I know Bobby is grateful to have those images. He and I decided that a nice way to honor Bitzy is to make sure other people have beautiful artwork of their fury family members.

On May 17 and 18 I will be offering special sessions at the studio. Anyone participating will be eligible to receive one of two $300 gift certificates to be used towards purchasing wall art. When booking a session there will be a few questions. At Bobby's discretion two people and their pets will be chosen to benefit from the gift certificates.

I can't wait to photograph some beautiful creatures and their loved humans!

Raising the money to apply for 501c3 is important as this will allow us to apply for grants and donations from larger corporations. In turn, this will allow us to help more pets in LaSalle county. Most companies I’ve reached out to will not help unless 501c3 status is obtained.

Obtaining 501c3 status is very important to me as this will help me help more animals in need! It will allow me to apply for grants and physical donations from large corporations that require 501c3 status before they’ll donate.
