Princess and Bella had a blast going to the vet. They got a clean bill of health and their vaccines boosted so they are now ready to mingle and hopefully find a home.

Bella did great meeting new people and loved all the snuggles. She has completely come out of her shell and will make a great family pet.

Princess did great as well. She has been a glutton for attention from day 1.

Bella and Princess are the last of the 9 pitties from Ottowa that have not found a foster or rescue. Please spread the word! We have volunteers willing to transport if the right placement is found.

Happy to update on the others:
Two of the puppies have been placed with Pet Project and are available for adoption.
One of the puppies has been successfully adopted. Another was placed today in a foster to adopt home, and the remaining male puppy is being fostered through Kat and Kritters Foundation.

I thank everyone for the help, support, and supplies. It takes a village.

We have several projects in line for 2025 but would like to see what our clients would benefit from the most. Please vote in the comments.

Projects we have already committed too:
New fenced play areas on grass
Rejuvenating the indoor kennels
New side walk with larger parking area
Public restrooms

In case you missed it, this fall we opened up our pole barn to include our new lobby, grooming facility, and indoor training/play room. If you haven’t seen it yet please come check it out!

As many of you are now aware, we have been helping rescue several abandoned dogs from Ottowa. This is a combined effort between the family of the deceased, animal control, Kat and Kritters Foundation, Pet Project, and several amazing local citizens.

Norway Kennels has taken in 5 of the known 7 over the last two days. Pet Project has two of them. They are all safe, warm and cared for.

There has been an overwhelming amount of interest. We ask that you please go through Kat and Kritters Foundation if you would like to foster and or adopt. These dogs will not be on the website but please feel free to submit an application to foster or adopt.

Update: One left this morning to join the family of an amazing foster through Kat and Kritters foundation. They are going to adopt him!
We have a second one leaving for a foster on Friday.

We would love to see the remaining three find a foster or forever home.

Luna and Jazzy have been adopted together!

We couldn't be more thankful as they have found a wonderful home with two other pups, loving parents, and lots of land to explore.

Thank you to everyone that shared out post on them. We reached 16,909 people! This would not have happened without your help. Please continue the support as we still look for a home for Re*****on.

Every guest gets a complimentary feed cup!

What happens when you leave the "cup" to measure Fluffy's food at home? No need to worry.

Most families have a different idea of what a cup or scoop looks like for their pet's food. Norway Kennels decided to solve the issue by creating a uniform cup that provides the correct volume of feed no matter where your pet is at.

Happy Holidays!

I would like to introduce myself and Dan as the new owners of Norway Kennels. We have been blessed to take on this amazing business from Jeff and Julie.

My name is Taylor, some of you may know me as the owner and groomer at Taylored Grooming in Somonauk or the dog trainer at Petsmart. I am excited to expand my services and bring all of your pets into our family. Dan and I live on the property and care for each pet as if they were our own.
