Two female dogs found on S. Conway but believed to belong on the 600 block of Gordon. If these are your dogs please let us know, we are FULL and unfortunately they are very scared here.

HAPPY HOWLIDAYS

We are officially ready for Christmas! Swirly the office cat has gotten the tree all decorated and it’s ready to be filled with presents🎁 Once again this year we are accepting gifts for the animals to open on Christmas morning! We have an abundance of dogs and kitties this year and they could all use some yule tide cheer! If you want to bring the animals gifts, you can drop them off at the shelter or if wanting to order online we will list our shipping address below. ‘Tis the Season🎄🎅🏻🐶🐱

If you had Santa pictures taken at Tractor Supply they are now available for pickup at the Marshall Animal Shelter starting tomorrow, we are open everyday from 11am-4pm except for Sundays. Thank you again to everyone for your support❤️💚

🐾ADOPTABLE DOGGIES🐾

We’ve got a lot to choose from this time around! Because we are so full we are reducing the adoption fees down to $50 with an approved application. We have not been able to dog or cat test everybody but can go into more detail about each dog during the adoption process😁 We are completely full and need to get some of these cuties into their furever homes! Please share this post!

ADOPTED!!!
Socks is still looking for a home. Her current caregiver will be leaving the area soon and can't take her. We don't feel that the shelter would be a very good place for Socks to come until she finds her forever home. Despite all that we do to enrich the lives of the pets in our care, it is still a shelter and can be scary.

Greetings my name is Socks,
I’m a lovable little Tuxedo girl with green eyes, black face with beautiful white whiskers, who’s about 1 years old. I also have the cutest little soft ways of communicating and love to talk.
I enjoy watching the birds with you in a chair, cat TV, sometimes I watch other shows as well. One of my favorite games is chasing the toy on stick and string.
I was brought to the vet to make sure I was spayed, got all my vaccines and got a clean bill of health. The traveling nurse who rescued me can’t take me with her but knows I make a nice little companion now that I'm domesticated and wants to help me find my forever home. Please give a chance.

It’s officially sweater weather and Reyelee and BabyGirl want to remind everybody how important it is to keep your dogs inside and warm this season! And maybe even go out and buy a cute sweater for your puppers. These two girls know how to be fashionable and warm☺️

We will be closing at noon today so the work mommies can spend extra time with their human families.
Meanwhile, the dogs will be enjoying Christmas movies and the cats will be doing what cats do best; nap😁

We will be closed today so that we can prepare for all of our friends to stop by and enjoy some delicious food prepared by us with lots of love for our community, our supporters. Without you, we would not be able to continue to help the snuggle babies.

This sweet 9 month old Husky is ready for his forever home! He’s got a wonderful personality and disposition! He gets along well with other dogs and loves playtime. He would love a home that can keep him active or at least have a buddy he can play with. He likes kitties a little too much so a home without them is best. Since he’s young he’s still very trainable and will make a great companion or running buddy🐾

Good things do come to those who wait, especially if you’re waiting on a dog to complete his basic training in the P4P program. One P4P adoptive family found that out firsthand after learning the dog they were ready to take home at the Marshall Animal Shelter was going to be trained at Boonville Correctional Center.

Key, a 2-year-old Border collie mix, graduated from the P4P program at Boonville Correctional Center last spring and went to his new forever home with a woman named Alma. Alma wrote us at [email protected] to share her experience and to let us know that Key is doing great.

Alma said,

“Key has been a wonderful addition to our home! When my mother and I first saw and fell in love with him, he was at the Marshall Animal Shelter. We wanted to adopt him then, but discovered he was about to be sent out to your program at the Boonville Correctional Center.

On May 18th, 2015 we brought the graduate home and it's just been great having Key! He loves walks at the park and especially loves the car rides to get there. He also gets along exceptionally well with our cats! He is very well educated and understands all of his commands.”

Oreo is missing from her home outside of Blackwater. She has been missing since Friday, November 3rd and her family is very worried about her. She is 15/16 yrs old. Please let us know if you’ve seen this sweet girl so we can help reunite her with her family🐾
