Who could imagine someone dumping this sweet momma and her pups on the side of the road? Fortunately Dr. McClendon and her sister in law came to their rescue. They have been vaccinated and Momma will be spayed but they need a permanent home with someone that will give them the love the deserve. They are too sweet to be street dogs. Let us know if you feel they would make a great addition to your home.

Friendly reminder that July 17th-21st is our staff vacation and the clinic will be closed for everything- appointments, boarding, emergencys, etc.
So please plan accordingly for your pets regular appointments at that time.
Emergencys should refer to Longview emergency clinic or shreveport emergency clinic during that time.
We will share several times between now and then as reminders.

We would like to announce we are now carrying the dog flu vaccine. It can reduce severity of disease in dogs for both strains of the flu that are known to occur in dogs. Give us a call today for any questions you may have to determine if it might benefit your pet.

This holiday season be on the lookout for Christmas goodies and treats that could be dangerous to your pets if they find your stash. Sugar free products containing xylitol are starting to change their label to read "birch tree sugar". Xylitol can cause a life threatening drop in blood sugar for your fur babies.

Freya has been our clinic cat for a while now. She perfers to stay in the kennel so you may not have seen her around. She is now getting bored and to be honest she needs more attention than we can give her while caring for our clients. If you are interested in adopting her please contact us. She has been spayed and up to date on vaccines and prevention.

Just a casual Tuesday with our newest patient, big or small we see them all. This sweet baby kept us all entertained at lunch today. She not only has visited St. Jude's but will be used for educational programs locally. We cant wait to watch her grow ❤️

Never a dull moment on a Friday: This boy needed help entering the world first thing this morning followed by a full day of other fur babies and we ended with getting this gal put back together following an unknown injury.

Have you ever wanted to work at a veterinary clinic? Now is your chance!! We are looking for part-time kennel help. This will entail a few hours a week and rotating weekends. Please bring a resume by if you are ready to learn and work. We work hard but have fun also. (Must have transporation to and from work, be able to perform manual labor, and have a positive attitude.)

George came to see his favorite technicians last week for his 3rd puppy shot! He also answered a few calls to make sure his fellow puppys remembered to get their annuals as well. ❤️
