We had such a great turn out this Saturday for the Second annual Pet Costume Contest. There were 15 total entries. A huge shout out to Marshall Area Chamber Commerce for hosting. It was an honor to sponsor this fun event.

Friday Fall Care Checklist! 🍂🍁

Fall in Hampton Roads brings a unique set of obstacles for animal owners. A break in the temperature is well received, however it also marks the "wet season" and an increase in biting insects and disease vectors. Make sure your horse is protected against West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis by vaccinating every 6 months.

Fall also marks the prevalence of Hurricane Season. Are you prepared? Make sure you have easy access to your animals medical records, including up to date Coggins results in case you need to evacuate. Also make sure your animal is easily identified: consider a Microchip for permanent identification!
