We are looking into offering more riding activities for our students and want to start offering a distance riding program for our students who are taking weekly lessons.

We are always accepting new students, including and especially homeschool students! We are here all day and instruction is a big part of our business! We are not a hobby farm that will sit every rider on the same old horse for an hour, we truly make our living raising and educating about and with America's First Horse! There is over 80 years of combined experience in speed events, long distance riding, training, lower level jumping, and much more! We have everything from older gentle horses for small children to performance horses for more advanced riders.

Starting in April we will offer a distance riding program on weekend mornings for any of our students who can hold a consistent trot and ride with minimal assistance.

Once we can get our riding arena brush hogged we will discuss practice days for Western and English show classes. We currently have a cross rails course setup for our advanced beginner to intermediate riders.

For our trail riders! Tomorrow we have two trail times available but need to know before noon if you are coming and how many! We are a working farm and ranch and cannot often drop everything for your group to come at short notice.

3:30pm is a 2 hour ride, not recommended for small children

5:30pm is a 1 hour ride

We've been full of riders this spring break and still have availability for Saturday rides! Give us a call by 10:30 to make reservations for tomorrow March 22nd! We have 4 spots available at 1:30pm or 2 available at 3:30pm.

We MUST have reservations! Just because Google lists us as "open" does not mean we have open availability! We do trail rides, lessons, horse training, gardening, and care for 45 Colonial Spanish Horses, Jacob sheep, Dexter cattle, chickens, and more.

It's almost time to start considering spring plans! We already have inquiries about spring break, so if you are interested in riding with us during spring break it's not too early to make reservations! We can accommodate groups of 10, with a couple extras to lead smaller children on their own horses.

We will be offering 1:30,3:30, and 5:30pm trail rides starting in the month of March with the options of 1 or 2 hour rides. For our frequent riders we have the option of overnight camping.

Give us a call for reservations. With nice weather just around the corner it's time to consider trail rides, riding lessons, and tune ups for horses that have been sitting awhile.

This may be last minute but for our locals,please show up if you can. Dallas wants the water from Lake of the Pines and is also planning on flooding 67,000 acres of land in the Tyler area to supply water instead of managing their own resources. This affects Caddo and surrounding areas tourism as well as just Lake of the Pines
