Mark your calendars for a fun spring event! We are excited to partner with Tira's Dog Grooming to put this on at the store.

Saturday, March 22nd from 10am-12pm at the Animal Health Center! Downtown Sound & Entertainment will be here taking FREE spring/Easter themed pictures of your pets and/or kids - whoever wants to join in on the fun! We will have cookies and juice for our human friends, and goodie bags for our pet friends! Don't forget to sign up for the chance at one of three door prizes - a free boarding weekend, a free bath & brush, and a free nail trim!

A customer just came into our store that she spotted a small brownish dog (shihtzu size) running around near Highway 23 by Walnut Grove Mercantile and Independent Lumber. She was unable to catch it and already called the non-emergency line, but wanted to let people know to watch for the dog.

We FINALLY got our Bog Boots shipment in! We apologize to our customers for the delay but we are fully stocked and ready for the cold months ahead! These boots will keep your feet warm up to -58F depending on style, although we think if it's that cold, you probably shouldn't be outside. ;) Brand new styles in Men's, Women's, and Kids this year! We have from little kids 9 up to Men's 14 currently in stock.

*NEW* ONE NIGHT STAY RATE!

Attention boarding clients: we have recognized that while our pricing is competitive for stays that are 3 days or more (2 nights or more), our pricing for just a one night (2 day) stay has been a little higher for our area. Because of this we have decided to implement a new policy. Effective immediately, we are offering a discounted "1 night" (2 day) stay rate. If pets are dropped off after 12pm on the first day or picked up before 12pm on the second day and only staying one night, we are offering a discounted rate of $15 per day for the first pet and $10 for additional pets staying in the same kennel. We will adjust anyone who has already made a booking and fits this requirement, and the change will be in effect for any bookings made in the future.

Since we do require payment at drop off, the discounted rate will be charged if you intend to pick up before 12pm. If you are here after 12pm without making prior arrangements, you will be charged the difference at pickup. If you intend to pickup before 12pm but will not make it in time, you will be charged the difference at pickup.

This will make one night stays (two days) $30 + tax instead of $40 + tax. Again, this only applies if dropping off after 12pm on the first day or pickup before 12pm on the second day. If you drop off before 12pm on the first day and pick up after 12pm on the second day, it will be our normal rate of $20 per day + tax. We do realize this may be a bit confusing so if you are planning a one-night stay, be sure to connect with us on what the pricing may look like for you based on your pickup and drop off plans.

It’s International Pet Groomer Appreciation Day today and we are so happy to have one of the best ones around! Thank you to Tira for all that you do and pampering everyone’s pups!

We are trying to move some clearance items - these are Pet Safe Dual Flap Wall Entry Pet Doors. We have a size small and a large. We have included a link to a very similar product so you can read about the sizes and requirements more. These do not come with boxes and are sold as is. They do both have the plastic door that you can use to close them and come with the hardware that was in the box. We are asking $20 for the small (normally $85) and $40 for the large (normally $140). We are super excited to add a small animal section to our store! We brought in some basics for getting started with small animals (hamsters, rabbits, gerbils, etc) and are looking for suggestions on other products you would like to see.
