Guys I am so excited! Our stunning Black doe, ARS Darla finally decided she wanted to be a mama!!! So we bred her to our main black herd buck, ARS Aftershock for an extremely anticipated cross!
ARS Darla is absolutely stunning doe I had the privilege to bring home from Allyse this spring! Darla killed during her show career and was 4th Jr doe at Convention last fall on top of many many other wins for both of us!
ARS Aftershock has been our game changer herd buck for our program. He did great on the show tables including 2nd Sr Buck at the 2023 Nationals! He is the producer of some of our favorites in the barn including - GC Smokin Roses Scorpio, GC Eligible Smokin Roses Voltage, GC Smokin Roses Electra, GC Pending Smokin Roses Comet and many more!
Darla has a more extreme body style with a gorgeous top line and turn over the hip. She needs more width in the HQ and a touch better texture. BUT where she lacks Aftershock excels! Hes wide, throws great texture, he may not be as extreme, but he’s definitely putting a mark on his babies! So I’m super stoked to see how this cross turns out to say the least!!
GC Eligible ARS Darla (Black - 9 legs) x GC Eligible ARS Aftershock (Black - 6 legs) for more blacks! (I know the gal her hated blacks with a passion, now has blacks as her main problem 🤣)
