Sometimes the favorites never see the show tables due the things that are out of our control. Venus unfortunately has a damaged eye from when she was a baby but that’s ok because this awesome girl will be added right into the breeding program as soon as she’s old enough!

I absolutely love her developing top line, and her incoming prime fur is to die for! She’s could use a little overall width but where she lacks her brother Neptune makes up for it! This girl sits like a brick and the structure of her shoulder and front end are exactly what we are tying to improve on this year in the herd!

Another sassy junior buck who I am STOKED about! He was not a willing participant for posing practice “it’s too cold for this crap” as it’s only 50 in the shed with the heaters 😂 is he perfect? Absolutely not, he lacks a tad in the lower hq and needs more width in the shoulder. But right now the pros out weigh the cons for our goals this year for the Mini Rex Herd. He has a very promising junior coat coming in now that he’s pushing his baby coat! Into the MIA grow out cages for a few months! This was our first litter using our new herd buck so will be interesting to see how this new line develops!

Our mini Rex grow outs have really been POPPING! Really like this older Junior buck! He will make his show debut in March as a senior then hopefully 🤞🏻 become the otter program herd buck! Great density and texture developing as he’s pushing in his prime coat. I love his width of body and he has such a smooth feel to him! Will be interesting to see how he matures in his senior development 💕
