This little handsome fella came walking on in to have Dr. Jacobson perform an FHO (femoral head ostectcomy) surgery due to an injury. FHO surgery removes the ball of the hip. Rengoku's primary care veterinarian referred him to our hospital for repair. We always appreciate referrals from other vet clinics. His pet parents committed to the drive to Marshalltown and we feel so blessed to be entrusted with his care.

Even though Rengoku had to be in a lot of discomfort due to the injury, he was the sweetest little patient and we all feel blessed to have been able to care for him🥰.

We love Thanksgiving for so many reasons- family, friends, good food, football, board games and fall weather. Thanksgiving is also an opportunity to turn our hearts and minds to thankfulness and gratitude. So today, the day after Thanksgiving, we would like to reflect on our blessings. Owning a family business can be hard, but having an extraordinary team and wonderful pet families make it all worth it!

To our extraordinary team- Thank you for joining us on this mission and for embracing the level of excellence we as hospital owner have set as our standards in all that we do here at THV. Because of this excellence, we get the opportunity to touch so many lives (both human as well as furry, scaly and feathery) from many in our community, but also from others that drive long distances so we can serve their precious family members.💜
