Here’s Melinda’s mom Danielle power walking the serpentine lol
Missy was put back into lessons this weekend. She picked up 2 lessons and did wonderful. I’m hopeful she will be back sharing the lesson schedule with Captain.
Birthday carrots for the birthday girl today. The big 22!!
Reese taking Ella over a cross rail
Miss Emme braving the rain
Daisy feeling some extra energy this morning.
Rosie doesn’t like the bunting flying up lol she was trying to bite it earlier.
Tandem jumping. Mariah and Reese
Sophia trying Captain out over a log jump in the pretty snow
Did a little something different in one of my lessons. We went down to the field to have a little fun in the dark with just a flashlight. Both riders did great.
Ella is a great trail horse. She knows her way. I dropped the reins today and she took me through the woods on the path taking the right turns to go home. I did take the reins back when she heard water and the drop was 100’. Not today Ella!
Katie trying her first jump ever on Ella. Katie has taken a liking to Ella lately. She’s quite a bit faster than her bigger counterpart Captain lol
Reese practicing her emergency dismount on all 3 gaits. This one here is at the canter. Captain is a good boy to stop when his rider “falls off”
Miss Danielle doing a great job on Captain today trying to feel the rhythm that will be used during posting trot. Danielle has excelled greatly since starting just a few months ago.
Savannah and Mariah playing tag on the horses. However Ella is fast and Missy is slow so it’s an interesting game. It is very fun though.
Ella is not an easy pony to ride. She prefers one speed over the others, fast! So learning how to slow Ella down and ride her at an acceptable trot can be challenging, but it can be done with patience. Mariah does a great job riding Ella.
Savannah is learning quickly that she prefers western riding over English. She does well with Missy and I think Missy prefers western over English too. However she happy to do both.
Holly and Bear stretching their legs
Maria doing some cantering out in the woods. Great job
