I am collecting gift cards for teens for the Friends of Foster Care group we support at Furnace Brook Farm. This is a legitimate group where everything goes to foster kids in need. These gift cards are for teenagers- many of whom are in group homes because they don’t have placement with a family. Teenagers are often overlooked at Christmas because everyone thinks of young children and buying toys. If you would like to help out please get gift cards to me by Saturday December 16th. Or if you would like to Venmo me I can pick up the gift cards for you.

Great day with our weekly group from Inly school !! Today the kids designed their own obstacle course, led the horses through it then rode through it. Loved their creativity!!

Furnace Brook Farm hosted appraisal 50 foster children today for a morning of fun at the barn. We had pony rides, a grooming station, crafts, tattoos, pumpkin tic tac toe and of course lots of delicious snacks! We love helping support the South Shore Friends of Foster Families and these amazing children who have faced such difficult challenges at such a young age. We will be helping support this organization as the holidays approach for anyone who is interested in donating! We can not post any pictures of the children due to possible custody issues but here is a peak of the fun they enjoyed.
So so thankful to FBF’s staff and dedicated volunteers who helped make this morning possible. BEST TEAM EVER. I am so grateful for your support.❤️ Special thanks to Apollo, Quiz, Larry, Jax and Elliott for being the best equine partners - we love you so much boys ❤️

Great day with Ellie and Elmer! So proud of the progress they have made - especially proud for the love and positive attitude my girl brings everyday to this sport and most importantly to sweet Elmer! Can’t wait for next year ❤️🎉❤️
