When people question the value of a foal or horse, they don't take into consideration the time and money spent along with possible emotional roller coaster ride it takes to get from point A to B or C. The decision made the time put in means nothing to most. Believe me when I tell you breeding horses isn't for the faint of heart. Along with it takes a village to get from point A to C or D. If part of your village let's you down it's time to rethink your village. Whether that be your barn team (if you have one), your farrier , trainer or Veterinarian group. Recently I found myself with a struggle and still riding that whirlwind. Why because part of my village cracked. So left with decisions and at what point do you call a Haile Mary. However while on this roller coaster that most won't appreciate Fordham Equine Mobile Veterinary Services has been a rock both Daniel Fordham and Katie along with Corey Liles. I being a farrier and breeder not thanking myself. Just remember folks when quivering over a price could you have got them to the point you are questioning the price on? Good well bred horses aren't cheap for a reason. For those that do breed be sure to thank your Veterinary, farrier, staff, and trainer for getting to point A to B,C etc. If your village let's you down make sure to be precise and pivot. Still in the woods but changes have been put in play and reserved but hopeful. Appreciate your village, breeders and I hope you all are blessed. Remember well bred and cared for horses aren't cheap for a reason, you get what you pay for. I will never hide behind a keyboard and bash anyone but will give credit where it's due.
