All joking aside, we are pretty desperate for volunteers to help us with sessions on Tuesdays through Fridays!
We know life is busy and time is valuable but if you have a few hours to spare a week, we would love to talk to you about volunteering!

I’m sure most of you have seen the new face around the farm the past couple of weeks. She is only with us for a short time, through spring, but we wanted to introduce her to everyone; as she is providing us with an immense amount of help!
Heather is here from Wingate University completing her doctoral capstone.
She is a rockstar at providing support and ideas for Program Development and putting it into action. She’s pictured below on Chica. Part of her experience is to develop hands on skills with the equines. Even though this portion of the capstone is a new challenge for her, she is knocking it out of the park!

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the loss of Isaiah, a faithful companion and original member of Angelic Riders, who faithfully served us for 24 years.
He carried so many of you and he is truly irreplaceable!
His loss is profoundly felt, as he was an iconic and beloved fixture at Mephibosheth Farms.
If you have ever been to Angelic Riders, he was fondly known as 'the beautiful white horse’ that everyone wanted to ride.
We warmly welcome you to share photos and memories of Isaiah, whose tireless service has brought joy to countless riders. ❤️

Angelic Riders is ❗️urgently❗️ seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team! Our center provides life-changing therapeutic horseback riding experiences for individuals with disabilities, and we can’t do it without you!

Volunteer Roles
-Sidewalkers- Work directly with riders, providing support and encouragement during their sessions.
-Horse Leaders- Handle and lead our gentle therapy horses during lessons.

Why Volunteer?

Brandywine Stables hosted a super fun and wonderful gymkhana event this past Saturday, where some of our girls and horses had the opportunity to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience. Horseback riding is a character-building activity that teaches important life lessons and skills! 🤩
