Years ago I worked at a groom shop and we had a pitbull behind the check in desk and this little old lady said “oh my gosh I can’t believe you girls deal with dogs like that , they are so dangerous!” I can’t stand the discrimination against “dangerous breeds.” This isn’t a dangerous breed problem, it’s a crappy person problem. Because of great people in the world daisy gets to be what God intended her to be. Not a fighting dog, but a family dog. Daisy has a terrible story, but I’m so happy she has a happy loving family now. As a dog groomer I have asked daisy to do all the uncomfortable things.
1. Trust a complete stranger while leaving her owner
2. Walk down the steps to my basement. (From my understanding all the bad things that happened to her was in a basement)
3. Trust the complete grooming process. Even with dogs that haven’t been abused, grooming can be scary
Daisy has every reason in the world to hate most humans and sure as heck not trust them but she took everything in stride, sure she was nervous but I’m convinced she wouldn’t hurt a fly. You cannot have success without fulfillment, as a dog groomer this is what makes me the happiest. Of course I love to give dogs cute fluffy haircuts but working with dogs like daisy makes me feel like I’m making a difference. I feel so blessed that Daisys owners trust me to groom her , she deserves a lifetime of spa days and a belly full of treats 💕.

Hey friends Kenzie is feeling much better and has been fever free!! Thank you for the thoughts and prayers 💕 the rest of my family has felt fine! It is not unusual for Kenzie to run a little bit of a fever and get the sniffles after a long weekend outside at the lake, but with this whole covid thing you can never be too safe! I have some more news to share! I have decided to home school my daughter. I will still continue to groom, I just won’t take as many dogs in a day. I’m going to limit myself to one family a day. I will except grooming appointments at 8 am, or 2:30 pm(or after). Please keep in mind that I may get booked up faster then usual so try to book your appointments early, if you rebook the day of your grooming appointment you will get $5 off. As always thanks for supporting me and allowing me to groom your furry legged family members 💕

Hey guys , I’m canceling all of my appointments and not accepting any new appointments at this time. We had a party 2 weeks ago for my daughter birthday , afterward a guest at our party had to be tested for covid , their test came back negative. My daughter is now running fever and has cold like symptoms. For your safety I’m canceling my appointments and waiting to accept new appointments. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience! Paisley was such a sweet baby. She was cracking me up because she would much rather lay down then stand up 😂

No two dogs are the same which means you can’t handles their struggles the same! Me and this boy have come a long way with grooming. A few months ago was definitely a struggle to just touch his legs but over the last few months I convinced him that if he bit my fingers off I wouldn’t have any hands to pet him with, and getting loved on is his most favorite thing. I love watching the transformation and getting dogs to trust me!
