“Multi-modal approach”.

You need to understand this word, especially if you have a senior pet that has arthritis.

This means - if your pet takes pharmaceuticals or even other nutraceuticals (such as a joint supplement), that if you add other “modes” of treatment, it becomes more effective.

An example would be adding an herbal pain remedy to a pharmaceutical. You could also add things like laser therapy, adequan injections, essential oils, and more. Combining two or more of these products together is what a multimodal approach looks like.

Often you can reduce the level of pharmaceuticals they take by doing this. They all work synergistically together for a much more effective pain regimen than just giving pills alone.
