So thankful for these precious young ladies!!

They took time out of their day and donated those hours to putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls of the kennels at the pound, when they could’ve been doing anything else!! Some people will complain and voice what they think needs to be done, while others will take action and do it. These ladies took action and made a huge difference!! We should all strive to be more like them🖤

UPDATE 11/17: unfortunately the original group had to cancel painting Tuesday, BUT another amazing group of students will be picking up the project and painting on Wednesday, so we’re still In need of supplies before Wednesday🙏

Tuesday evening an amazing group of UTM students will be giving the inside of the pound a fresh coat of paint!! Paint was donated by The Color Shop in Martin, and we couldn’t be more thankful!!

If you have any paint rollers, handles, roller covers, trays, screens, buckets or paint brushes laying around that you could donate, that would be amazing!! Or anything I might be forgetting!! Donations can be dropped off at Martin Police Dept or my office (Tara Woods) before noon on Tuesday!!

The pups are so grateful for the love🙏er ing

UPDATE 11/14: this most precious of all piggies has still not been claimed and Is now hoping someone will save her and love her forever!! This precious girl was found trying to make friends with kiddos at the elementary school. Instead some bad kids were hitting her with sticks, to which she wasn’t reacting. She just wanted to make friends. A kind teacher stepped In and made these hoodlums stop hitting her and got her safe. This girl doesn’t have a mean bone In her entire body!! She just wants to be loved and doted on. She appears to be around 3-4 years old and 50ish pounds.

PS teach your kids to be good humans.

Because of donors and Fall Picture Fundraiser, we were able to purchase a tray of DA2PPvL2 vaccines and dewormer for the pound puppies!! THANK YOU isn’t enough to let you all know how much it means that you cared and are helping save some babies🖤 ALSO, enough paint was donated to give the inside of the building a fresh coat!! Hopefully soon we can also get the outside looking nicer!! Put a little “makeup” in the building☺️

Would anyone be Interested In helping sponsor the pups? If so, we can do a fundraiser for that and help get those babies altered and their rabies vx done so that they’re more adoptable or easier to place in rescue!!d th
