Sweet girl needs a rescue!!

UPDATE 8/31: no one came for this sweet, sweet girl😓 She’s now needing rescue or adoption. Around 2-3 years and only around 40-50lbs. Like so many blue pitties, she has some skin allergies going on, which Is manageable once Is determined what’s aggravating her.

UPDATE 8/25: all 4 have been rescued!!🥳🥳

UPDATE: thankfully two of these sweet babies have gone to a wonderful rescue!! The two on the left are still searching for a rescue!!

These 4 puppies were picked up on Hwy 22 on 8/10. If you know their person, or are interested in rescuing or adopting, please contact the Martin Police Dept at 731.587.5355.

*All had first distemper/parvo and dewormed 8/16.en

We picked up a female pit bull at Browning Hall this morning. Very friendly and may have recently had pups. If you know who owns this dog, please have them contact 731-881-7777.

UPDATE 8/19: a post no one ever wants to make. And this one punched me square in the gut. Sadly this old man passed away peacefully In his sleep over the weekend. He seemed a little down and out Saturday, but I thought he was just tired because the puppies decided to crawl into his kennel, and becoming depressed because he had obviously been someone’s baby at some point, but no one had come for him. He ate normally, and cried normally when I put him up for the night. I don’t know if there was a preexisting condition, that when paired with the horribly high temps, was just too much for his sweet, old body or what. What I do know Is that he went for a car ride and got a really good bath on Saturday afternoon, and ate a couple cans of his favorite food and some yummy treats. He had fresh cold water, a full belly, and a fan blowing on him (fans, treats and canned food thanks to precious donors). He was slightly heartworm positive, which very well could also have contributed to his death. He even had a precious family coming to meet him Monday😞

PLEASE keep your pets on heartworm prevention. PLEASE never abandon them. PLEASE continue to share these posts In case someone Is looking for their baby, or for a baby to adopt.

UPDATE 8/16: no one has come for this sweetest old man, and he’s starting to shut down in the pound. He has a sweet family coming to meet him, but wanted to share one more time just in case his family is looking for him. If you know him, please let his family know.

This distinguished older pup was found on 8/5 and is pretty sad at the pound. Family can contact Martin Police Dept to identify (gender, collar, etc) and claim. If not claimed by 8/15, he/she will then be available to adopt or go to rescue.
