🎉🐱We’re so excited to share two very special adoptions from yesterday!

A big congratulations to our sweet “wobbly” brothers, Jitterbug and Foxtrot! These adorable CH cuties both found their forever homes yesterday. Each heading to separate families in the Bay Area.

Even though they’ll be living apart, their adopters plan to keep in touch, and we couldn’t resist capturing a photo of the brothers being adopted together on the same day.

Congratulations to these two very special boys and their new families! 💕

Wobbly Wednesday

Meet Foxtrot and Jitterbug—two adorable three-month-old kittens with mild/moderate CH. Rescued from the San Jose Shelter! 💕
These special little ones are full of love, charm, and resilience, and they are now ready to find their forever homes. Both are very affectionate and love to follow you around for attention and cuddles.
They love to seek human affection.

While they enjoy eachothers company they do not have to be adopted together—they can thrive just as well separately.

Cats with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) may have a wobbly gait, but they live happy and healthy lives, just like any other cat!

What is Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH)?

Macho is available to meet/adopt by appointment. He is cute, friendly and ready. He is not much of a climber due to having one of his front legs amputated, so he is a tri pod. But he gets around just fine and loves playing with other cats.

We welcomed this special boy from another rescue that wasn’t comfortable handling his case—but we’ve had the honor of helping kittens like him before, and we know they absolutely deserve a chance.

Achilles was born with a deformity to his left ankle but that doesn’t slow him down one bit! He uses his leg like a pro, walks just fine and uses the litter box. He plays with all the zest and zoomies you'd expect from a kitten!
All of his siblings were born without any issues and have already found their forever homes. Now it’s his turn.

Achilles is sweet, affectionate, and endlessly curious. He may need a little extra support as he grows—maybe some physical therapy or mobility support down the line—but right now, he’s just a happy, playful kitten living his best life.

We’re looking for a special adopter who sees his heart before his leg. Someone who understands that “different” doesn’t mean “less.” ❤️

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a kitten who’s already proven how strong and adaptable he is, Achilles is waiting for you.

💔 With a heavy heart, I’m sad to share that little Possum has passed. He was the tiny blind kitten we rescued from a work site with his sister. Possum came to us in critical condition—fragile and very sick.

Last night was touch and go, and this morning, he let us know he was ready to rest. He stopped fighting.

This loss has hit me especially hard. Not long ago, I lost Toph—my sweet blind girl—to FIP. She was only five. I had so much hope for Possum, and I truly believed he might pull through.

His sister, Raccoon, is still with us and doing well. She’s strong and thriving—and I think she deserves a fresh start with a new name. If you have any name suggestions, I’d love to hear them. My brain and heart are a bit broken today. Missed most of my morning with a migraine and very little sleep.

Thank you to everyone who’s followed their story, supported us, and held space for the hard days too.
We appreciate you all!.

EMERGENCY RESCUE – BLIND KITTENS IN NEED

We received a heartbreaking call from a concerned citizen in Vacaville about a blind kitten in desperate need of help. What we found was even more urgent—two very sick babies, barely surviving, covered in fleas and burrs, and in critical condition.

💔 The tiniest baby was born with microphthalmia, a condition that left him with severely underdeveloped eyes. He will never see the world.
💔 His sister has a ruptured left eye—painful, swollen, and beyond saving. She will need surgery to remove it once she’s strong enough.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers, both kittens were rushed to our medical team. They are now safe, warm, and receiving the food, medication, and comfort they desperately need—but their journey is far from over.
They both face a long road to recovery, and surgery costs alone will be in the thousands. We can’t do this without your help.

🙏 Please, if you’re able, donate today to help us give these babies the second chance they deserve. Every dollar makes a difference. No amount is too small.

Meet Taps & Jazz 🎶
These sweet boys were found in the middle of the road in Richmond, CA.—one barely alive. Thanks to amazing Good Samaritans, they made it to EBARR and into our care.

Both have cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome), but that doesn’t stop them!
Taps is a little bit more wobbly and less steady on his feet, but full of determination.
Jazz is a silly spitfire who loves cuddles and chaos.

They’ll be with us until they’re ready for forever homes. Stay tuned for updates! 🐾
